32:40 I feel like it doesn't get discussed enough how Clara is wearing various shades of purple (or at the very least, wearing her purple lilac/lavender[?] broach) as we watch Doc fall in love with her....And then in the end we see Doc, Clara, and their kids all have bright pops of purple in their clothes (even the train time machine's got bright purple accents!!)..... Kinda obsessed with interpreting this as Doc being fully consumed in loving and being loved by Clara 🥹💜💜💜 Edit: just read up on how purple is often the symbolic colour of blossoming love/romance 😭💜💜💜
@shawnshawnmoviereviews24 күн бұрын
Purple used to be the color of royalty and the Pope. They way they used to make purple was from snails on the bottom of the sea. So it was extremely expensive to make that color and only the royalty wore it. The Pope to this day wears purple.

The fan base has grown by leaps and bounds as the years have gone by, and new generations of fans continue to discover and love this trilogy of films. And look at how it has expanded out into other mediums. An animated series. A theme park ride. A musical. A fully interactive video game with a great storyline. A yearly event recreating Hill Valley 1885 for the fans. Countless convention appearances by the actors. And a slew of all new comic books written by Bob Gale himself. And even a crossover comic book event with The Transformers. All of this and more. I am glad you enjoyed the trilogy, it is, pun intended, timeless.

Fun fact: During the hanging scene at the beginning, Michael J. Fox accidentally really hanged and started to choke and nobody realized thinking, he was acting. At the last moment the director realized it is all too believable to be an act and they cut him down. Fox decided to finish the scene regardless, hence the sore throat of his you hear when he says "you did" to the doc is the result of an actual hanging and wasn't scripted.

This trilogy resonates because it’s such a wholesome friendship between Marty and Emmett. When we come upon them in the first movie, they are already friends. And the friendship didn’t need to be explained. How did a high school kid become friends with a scatterbrained local scientist? The friendship is represented so solidly between them that no exposition needed to be made, like in those buddy cop movies where two oddballs bond over the course of the movie. We meet Marty and Doc as ready made friends, allowing the plot to delve straight into their adventures. What a trilogy.

I just found this channel. I have really enjoyed watching you watch the BTTF trilogy. I watched all three of these films in real time, in the movie theater, when each of them came out. The original BTTF is one of my favorite films of all time and essentially turned me into a time travel junkie. Your reactions are so heartfelt and brought me back to the time I first experienced these films. I'm going to say - i'm little surprised that III is your favorite, but I'm glad you appreciate it. In fact, I teared up myself watching your emotional reaction to III. Something that did not happen when I watched it myself for the first time. I think the sequels got a bit of a bad rap when they came out, because a lot of people felt they didn't live up to the first movie. I sort of felt that way myself when I saw each of the sequels in the movie theater. But upon rewatching these films over the years, I have definitely warmed up to the trilogy as a unified piece of work. The first film will always be my favorite, though. Love your channel - especially Cairo - who is clearly a very soulful pup.

Funny you should say that you can't picture anyone else being Marty.. When they made the first one, they couldn't get Michael J. Fox because he was on "Family Ties" so they hired Eric Stolz. The filmed for something like 6 weeks until the director finally went to Exec Producer Stephen Speilberg and said "It's just not working" and they scrapped all the footage and started over. They got Fox, but he had to shoot at nights and weekends to keep up with his sitcom job. He was exhausted the whole time filming the first one.

My idea for a Backtothefuture sequel trilogy is as follows: It is fourty years since the events in the three movies. DocBrown's house have been abadonned for fourty years and is in a shabby state.Three youths who live nearby goes there to clean up the place and make it ready for a sale. While they are cleaning the house they find the scematics for the delorean and how the fluxcapasator makes timetravels possible. They also find a video which shows one of the youths mother(possible Jennifer Parker)and she looks totally different than she looks today. the youths also sees DocBrown holding a newspaper where Biff has the Grey's sport allmanac in his pocket from 1955. They decide to build a new Delorean from DocBrown's scematics. When they are finnished they decide to bring the Grey's sport allmanac(which is in common sale in 2022) with them. They goes back to 1955 and knows allready that MartyMcFly detained JenniferParkers father when he took the caseboard apart in the first movie to use it as a regular board.The youths prevent this from happening by giving MartyMcFly another board to stand on while flying away from Biff. They also gives their fathers the Grey's sport allmanac.
