I find it really cool that over 3 movies the delorean was seen for less than 15 mins in total. Yet its still the coolest and most recognizable movie car ever built imo

The DeLorean was seen for way more than 15 minutes in the trilogy. This video is just crap and leaves out a bunch of scenes. Not even just the scenes where it's in the background while Doc and Marty are talking, but big ones like when Doc comes back from 2015, or when the DeLorean is unveiled for the very first time.

there is another delorean, in bttf 3 you see that doc hid the delorean in a cave, for marty to find in 1955. Which means that when marty took the delorean back to 1885 there were 2 of them. btw in the animated series you see another one

Missing scenes: -Doc drives the DeLorean out of the truck for the first time. -Doc explains the interior of the DeLorean to Marty. -Marty driving on the road at daytime, wishing it's just a dream, noticing there's no plutonium anymore and he pushes the DeLorean behind a sign. -Marty showing the 1955 Doc where he hid the DeLorean. -Marty arriving in 1985 with the DeLorean, leaving it on the road and then watching his past self escaping with the past DeLorean. -Doc bringing Marty back to his home and then travelling to 2015. -Doc arriving back in 1985 to get Marty and Jennifer. -Doc, Jennifer and Marty landing in 2015. -Doc and Marty in 2015, getting Jeniffer back from her future home. -Old Biff stealing and returning the DeLorean. -Marty and Doc discover the hidden DeLorean in the Mine next to the Duel Loser graveyard. -Doc repairing the Mine-Delorean and then discussing with Marty what he has to take with him to 1885. -Marty driving into the cave in 1885, inspecting the gas leak. -Doc and Marty in 1885 trying out different ways of getting the DeLorean to 88mph, failing each time. -Doc and Marty trying to repair the DeLorean with the strongest whiskey.

One thing I just thought of: Doc didn't know if the Time Machine would work. He called it "Time Travel Experiment #1", and had the car driving directly towards him and Marty. Up until that point, his most successful invention, was the Dogfood delivery machine seen in the beginning of the film. What if the Time Machine had failed? Doc wouldn't be around for Experiment #2.
