@@Dark.Syndicate I watch many pros and in terms of creativity only zen is on that level. Yeah sure dark has inconsitencies in his play, but its only due to how fast he plays. It feels like he takes a risk of being inconsistent just to create new playstyle in the game. In terms of creative mechs he is one of the most consistent players but he doesnt have consisten basics of pro play, boost management, defence and as consistent double taps off wall reads etc,

@@Ben_Simon_i understand what you mean but i think consistent is the wrong word. sorry to use zen as an example because of how often people mention him but he shows true consistency in his mechanics. dark may be able to hit them ‘cleaner’ but a lot of the time his mechanics get him scored on. zen (and other pros/top 100s) on the other hand almost never lets his advanced mechs get in the way of his field/ball/boost advantages. if dark can figure out how to use his mechanics at the highest level it will really be something to see.

I just want to call out that 1:00 Dark does something amazing… he uses the falling ball to stuff his jump and gets a wavedash out of it. Thats absolutely nuts, never seen that before

I think dark really sees RL as an improvement game. The outcome of the matches don't matter to him as much as growing faster than everyone else. Makes me think that the standard kickoffs he is doing is his effort to go all in and improve that aspect of his game

Honestly the best way to push the boundaries is to ball chase for a very long time, over do things, learn from it and improve. At the end of the day, the perfect passive player can never beat the perfect aggressive player. I think dark is trying to become that perfect aggro

Dark is by far the most mechanically smart player the game has ever seen. His understanding of car control is unmatched. A player that pushes themselves this much is unheard of, really. In my opinion, it's only a matter of time until he dominates RLCS. He became the best at pogos, by far. Then he became the best at dashing, by far. I believe he will become the best 3s player, by far, when he's old enough to compete.

In just the past couple of videos I've watched of him, he's inventing multiple new mechanics on the fly. Basically, he's already changed RL and will probably continue to.
