At the time you don't think about it but in reflection one makes it bigger than it really was. You learn from your experiences and move on. One should always try to be a better person in their every day life.

I had a pay it forward opportunity once too, at the grocery store woman with a small child buying , milk bread, cheese and some other things . Cashier gives her her total and she didn't have enough money. She put back a box of cereal and eggs and orange juice. She paid for the items she could afford. We checked out got in the car and hubby and I both said at the same time....we should have bought those items for her. It still bothers me now that we didn't help her....pay more attention is a good way to be!! Dee from chicago!!

I was at Subway in town and went to pay the bill and realized I forgot my wallet. I called my wife to bring the wallet. She is only 5 minutes away. The young couple after me said they will pay the bill. I told them the wife was coming. They insisted. So some time later I was in the same store and paid for the lady’s meal after me. She was shocked.

my first car was 1966 dodge dart GT. convertible HP. 273. sky blue paint. found out later in life they made 550 in that configuration. still kicking myself over that sell.

I am one that tends to run to the more cautious when there is any chance of the road being slick. One day, headed east through Nebraska from N. Platte, we hit icy conditions. I had 4 wheel drive and good tires, but since the front and rear tires were not the same brand, it tended to be a bit squirrely. Traffic kept bunching around me, so I started ramping off, let the crowd pass me by, and re-enter to a clear road. That way, if someone lost it and took out the whole cluster (turned it into a phrase I won't repeat here), I wouldn't be involved and they couldn't claim that I was the cause of it. I don't bother with it these days if I'm in a customer's truck. I'll find a spot to roost until conditions approve. It's not worth the stress involved.

Being from California where I get little to no snow, I have never driven in real snow. Just a light snow. I cannot imagine driving a rig like that in snow, it must be unnerving on some level, even with your experience. I've been in snow a bunch of times and even went to Aspen to ski for a week, but have never learned anything about driving in the snow. In one of your videos you talked about how the CHP react when it snows on the grapevine... well this is why! lol We are idiots when it comes to driving in snow. I think they react that way because if they didn't they would go broke rescuing people non stop! haha PS and you are right we have some of the worst drivers in the country.

Hey Mike....how many miles a year do you do in the truck......dont beat yourself up on the pay it forward. I ride 3 -4 weeks on the bike a year but can travel 800-1000 miles a day so credit card gets used all over the place but only 12-18 bucks at a time..... they shut my card off a few times because miles all over the country...Had to call at 3 am one time to let them know all good. Maybe what happened.
