Having missed the first few minutes of Virtual Church last night and catching only the final bars of Thalben-Ball’s Elegy, I’ve just found some time to re-listen to the whole performance of one of the most beautiful (in my opinion) organ pieces ever. I never fail to be moved by it and Richard’s performance was as impressive as ever! It’s always better “live” - as we expect every Sunday evening, but it was a perfect antidote to a rainy Monday!! As always , thanks are due to Richard and Beauty in Sound for some of the best spent hours of each week!

I've heard that the threshold from growing to aging is around age 26, so I suspect everyone in heaven will appear as they did in their late 20's.

Hello Richard. Congratulation on running a wonderful KZbin channel. I admire your virtuoso skills. I have a question. What set of samples are you presenting here. Last week I bought a Laurenskerk set from Rotterdam at sonusparadisi. However, they do not offer a set rich as yours. Greetings from Poland.Jarek.

When Hugo and Charlotte get older, will you or Caroline be giving them piano lessons or with you have someone teach them?

Have you ever played the organ at the Laurenskerk in Rotterdam, the real one?
@beautyinsound2 ай бұрын
Yes. At various points in this video there are pictures of me playing it, and there is a video of me playing BWV 552 on my channel 👍

@@beautyinsound I live there! How cool! Excuse me for not finishing the video and seeing it for myself. Hope to meet you there at an organ promenade someday...
