620 is a great tractor. Have ran one both in agriculture in Eastern Montana and a fleet of them in construction pulling scrapers in California. We put those 620s through hell in California and they held up amazingly. Shredded a few tracks made a huge mess but the tractors did great.

Am missing planting in Hays SD and Pierre area . 320000 acres in those hills was something many years ago and then came custom harvesting starting out in Hobart OK . Hopefully this season works out well for all farmers this season. Challengers and Sunflower where my implements and then CASE Combine and Flezicoil Airseeder .... I do miss all those adventures in the farming world here in Toronto CA.

Mike - great video. You must have an outstanding relationship with all of your dealers regardless of the color of the machine. Just can’t beat good dealer support: Case 620 delivered with lighting speed, Deere mechanic wiring up the Case & planter. Based on your prior video with the Fendt combines you seem to have the same relationship them. I've always believed, a good deal is one that is beneficial to all parties.

Good story on the change out of the Fendt and Case tractors. That is certainly a PITA, with all the electrical hook ups..There are so many possibilities of Harness pin connections, wire breaks, low voltage from corrosion, what a night mare! That seems so strange looking at the beautiful green US landscape vs the burnt out, pond filled Canadian side. I know which side of the fence I would want to farm! Good Luck Mike! It is kinda confusing when a farmer says that such a huge tractor like 1050 is not enough for his needs,but what can you do. I watched the previous video and i really can't believe how difficoult is to pull such a huge air drill. Also,that Fendt is absolute beast next to a "normal" size tractor.

I think it’s more that the drills are too wide for the tractor, not that the tractor isn’t big enough. Like you said, the 1050 is a giant tractor by all measures.

you need to get one of them new quad track versatile out there. better ride and lots of room in cab. they are the real daddies of the 4 wheel drive and i think with auto shift and improvements on hydraulics they have got a hit.

We have a 9410r on our farm and the biggest implement it pulls is 34 foot and the tractor looks huge and that drill makes your 9620rx’s look tiny

It was kind of funny when Mike said the fence that is there was put up by the Montana farmer - not by US customs. Major concern on the Canadian border seems to be keeping the Montana cattle out of Canada. Turner port of entry was just over a mile from where the tractors were set up. They probably didn't bother driving over to check because they were watching on scopes the whole time. If there was any activity out of eye sight they would have been visiting in an instant.

Hi Mike, love how real you are. With the acreage you do have you ever thought about 2 shifts or like most bosses is hard to find good operator's, so easier to do it yourself? Agricultural world wide needs to sit down and talk about how we can make it easier for staff to move around the counties, as it seems to be getting harder and harder to find staff who want to do the 16 plus he days. I like I'm guessing many other agri operator's world wide would love to come and work for guy's like you, we learn from you, you learn from us, we all trying to feed the world wright?

Yes.. Because my Rx which is Weighted heavier, is actually on a smaller drill.. So to properly do this, we ll use the comparisons from Brian's drill which is also right be side us.

It will be interesting seeing the big players in the quad tractor industry in a viable comparison unlike the controlled testing each company does to get the best results. That or they condition everything just right. If I ever see a review of a tractor or a comparison of X vs x tractor posted by X company, I click off faster than any other video. They just don’t provide viable information or they skew the data so bad it’s irrelevant.
