That's a matter of taste, the last album from LMTF was very special and different and special in its own way some people think this direction is very cool some don't and don't really like it which is understandable. This band has a lot of potential and is overall very good and No eternity in gold didnt erased that about them, they are still a great band to check out even if their new direction isnt liked by everyone

It was different, not their best but still a banger. I think he means it wasn’t quite “An Eye For An Eye” cause that album was insane. This new tune indicates they going back to roots. We all like it when bands go back to their roots 😎

My album tier list: 1. An Eye for An Eye 2. Dark Divine 3. No Eternity in Gold 4. When We Don’t Exist 5. The Dying Things We Live For This band has a special place in my heart cause they were the ones that got me into metal/metalcore as a whole. Dark Divine was the perfect intro to the genre for me and is full of bangers even after listening to it so much. When people ask me what I listen to I still play “Nowhere left to sink”.

Literally vocals were to quite for sure, but the album was way better then any of their others imo, the guitars sound way more technical then any of their other albums as well.

As much as I'm loving the heavy I wish Chris did some more cleans or scream sings for just a few small sections. I believe Chris has a very good and unique voice which needs to come out a bit more.

Hell yes! Check out their earlier work, IMO some of the best metalcore songs of the early 10s.

EPs make sense for bands with a few albums behind them. If you've already got more good songs than fit into a set list there's no need to churn out an album's worth of material unless you genuinely think you have enough quality tracks to make one. Fewer, but better, additions to their discography are better for the band and audience. I did like No Eternity In Gold, especially the structural variations, but the production on Chris' vocals was definitely lacking. That's not the case here and the track is all the better for it. They don't have many songs without any clean vocals, it's interesting to see them go there again.
