Hi Melissa! I've been saving this video for a quiet moment and a cup of tea. 💕 I never think a video is too late! Do it whenever you want.😉 I also picked up The Counterfeit Lady series on impulse and started the first book yesterday! I have a Cynthia Harrod-Eagles book out from the library right now. I've never read her. Inherit the Sun sounds so dramatic! I just love those covers for the Seven Brides series.

This was great!! I'm glad you're back for a video. I always get a new book to add to my Want to Read! I love any Downton Abbey feel too. LOVE the cover for Scarlett! I have the old school OG cover and may add that new one to my list!

Hi Melissa! Hi from Australia 😊 I am so glad you are back - I adore your book hauls. The way you get so excited about family sagas makes me think I'm serious missing out! I couldn't find a "guide to family sagas" video on your channel or anywhere. Would you recommend making one at some point?

Post your 2022 favs! I read that P&P variation /continuation series over 10+ yrs ago from the library when first published. I don't remember much, but it must be good if I read them all in that series lol. I love the Rosamond pike audio too.

Hi Melissa! I've been watching your videos since last year and I love your book hauls! Thanks to you I discovered LaVyrle Spencer and I'm now reading Years. Morning Glory and The Endearment are also on my tbr list. I also love Jane Austen (Persuasion is my favourite). For Pride and Prejudicesque stuff, have you read Longbourn, by Jo Baker? It's a P&P retelling from the servant's perspective. It's on my tbr list alongside with The Forgotten Sister, by Jennifer Paynter, and The Other Bennet Sister, by Janice Hadlow. Looking forward to more videos from you!

Cynthia Harrod Eagles wrote a huge series about one family in Yorkshire starting in the mid 15th century and continuing to WW2. It's called Morland Dynasty and it's 30+ books long. It's incredible. Give it a look when you can. The first book is called The Founding written in the early 80s and the author has said she intends to continue the series.

How cool is that Seven Brides series? I’d love to own that! 😄 I also have those Anna Lee Huber books on my reading list. It’s not a genre I would usually read so I’ve been putting it off, but I do want to give it a try! My most recent goodwill trip netted me some vampire historical romance books. I couldn’t resist the covers! I’ve got to give them a try too!

Melissa girl! It's been so long since I've commented. I definitely would like to see what your favourites from 2022 were. Any extra fun book covers I'm all for! As you know. lol. 😆🎉 City of Lies looks like the start of a really fun series so I hope you enjoy that first one! Do everything at your own pace and I'm glad you've been doing so well! I still need to get to the 6th Outlander. I'll get to it this year for sure! The 5th one was amazing, btw! I really enjoyed it! 🔥
