I totally disagree with the last part of this statement . Let them do all that they can for themselves. It’s what builds character , responsibility and skills. You as a parent should just help when help is needed and only if asked.

A very good friend of mine used to run the same Sawmill and I used to help him. And watching you do this makes me miss my buddy very much. He died from mouth cancer from Camp Lejeune.

Jeff is my spirit animal:). Just started on 10acre lot, plan on building at least one building from trees on the property. Will certainly be referring back to many of his videos. Blessed with Amish community 10min away. Sawmills are very easy to find and cheap. Had a 20’ 16” Black walnut cut into Slabs, 5/4 and 4/4 for $50.

Good video y’all thanks for all the great content. Y’all keep up the good work. Just a suggestion at the mill I use to work at we mixed trans fluid with soapy water and that really works well. The trans fluid cuts the sap off the blade pretty good

This was my first job when I was 16 working on the wheeler farm. Had a chance to run the saw a few times, but mostly stacking wood off the mill to the Keel

We have a fiberglass tail on our saws to make them 4 feet long. Easy way measure logs. Tail to end of log tap log with running chain move up , tap and move on or cut off. makes work quick

We know you're always thinking three steps ahead, how are you going close up on seems we're deciding of the house and the roof come together making it airtight and watertight, sew-in on hurricanes come through you don't get no water in between the walls? Love what you doing keep it up
