Hi would you mind sharing any tips or techniques you used in route selection on your decent here? Looks to be quite a steep slope, what is it that made you feel comfortable riding this slope and confident enough you wouldn't trigger any type of slide? Looks epic, thanks!

Hey thanks for the question! We read the avy report and picked a route with a few options depending on how things looked. We passed on a few options that were steeper, more open and had longer runouts. We almost went further on the ridge to a less steep entrance but decided this medium one looked safe. It got mellow really quickly and was fun, adventurous skiing! Hope that helps 🤙

I'm riding K2 Pinnacle 105s! I just have one ski setup and find these work well in the resort and backcountry.

Thanks! Looking at the map of the area it appears to be the Sunrise Point Trail.
