This is great stuff Matt, thanks for sharing. Whilst being great to use in trad, its also has expanded my chord positions in general! You've really made trad guitar seem less scary. Very intuitive & a big lightbulb moment. Enjoying the whole series and will be sharing. Was there any players who inspired your approach? (In standard tuning specifically) Thanks again. Hi Like, thanks so much! I appreciate it. As far as inspirations; for standard tuning trad, Dennis Cahill would be my main influence. Though I feel like I steal a bit from everyone I hear, regardless of tuning. I do love Bill Frisell a lot, sometimes his voicings might sneak in.

Hi, Awesome tutorial Matt, this will come really handy! Could you start teaching backing on Irish Bouzouki, to show the chords and patterns you use. I got Irish Bouzouki but there are not many good videos about it :( Thank you in Advance, btw. Shannon is amazing I am also learning how to play flute from her
