My god, the backflips were insane. 10/10 my dudes.

I know this is an old video but just wanted to comment. Few years ago we had a limited strap break and track locked up. We were only 10 miles from home so we went and grabbed a plastic sled and put it under the track. If the trail is decently groomed it makes towing very easy.

So 65-70 degrees is the money spot for flips! I’ve always wondered what angle is best

If you use a super short rope from skis to bumper the towed sled will steer automatically and the rope being so short keeps it from running into the front sled. Works great if you have an injured rider.
@MuskokaFreerider8 ай бұрын
Ski to running board works like you we did as well. Zero slack that way. Just doesn’t work if there right single track. Sled also stayed out of roost this way
@Alero2k48 ай бұрын
I was wondering why it wasn't done that way. We haven't towed any other way in a very long time!

I don't get the motivation to bring the race sleds. And what kind of race sleds are they? Snowcross? Great spring time riding viewing. Landon is a bit insane. Lash 1 ski loop to the rear running board mount. Every other method seems silly after doing that.
@awdeveau8 ай бұрын
I was thinking how sick it would have been to stick the X4 on one of the sleds doing the back flip. But im afraid there might not have been much left to it if it was mounted on the front of the sled. 😅

Took 2 race sleds up to do something they was either built to do or not built to do, back flips. Is "Race Sled" meant as snow cross or stunt sled? At the end of it 2 stock sleds did better than a stunt sled. Good riding to the guys. Stay safe out there boys.

What finger throttle is on that Freeride ? 🤔
@adampetten10098 ай бұрын
tell the boys you can get trail tanks and low comp heads for the RS.. running on good 94 pump fuel they getting better economy than race fuel. clutching is also mandatory.... Landon is one tuff cookie nothing like a flat landing nose dive
@mikegatherall37748 ай бұрын
Would think that it’s the moment of inertia of the longer track is what makes the rotation easier than the short track …track speed on the short sleds should be greater than long sled as the shorties are geared higher plus shorter lug should mean less load

Tie to the ski tips (not the spindles)put a stick between the ski tips and that sled will follow right along
