Caleb, You need to do a video where guys get to ride your sled briefly at the clinics and feel the Ohlins shock difference like I did and then speak to it on camera. Running a full set this year and it is because of getting to ride yours last season.

Super informative video actually. That sled was sick, and you crushed riding it. I think the builds are neat, but many of us on a more generally basic budget and abilty level....a few less chute to 270s with an upside down hopover wheelie re-entry - if you know what i mean 😊. Steve Martin recently did a video about buying an economy model sled that most could afford, and i think he is on to something there. Itd be fun to see you rip a couple pro-Kesterke days on a stock, cheaper modeled sled between the epic sled videos your normally producing. And I hope you and Matt get back out there together. Those were good-vibe vids.

That's a good idea! I hope so too, I think we will ride together in December
@enochporter3743Ай бұрын
Awesome video! I really enjoyed the thoughts and discussion on what worked for you. I also appreciate how you don't just buy every aftermarket part available to throw on your sleds. It makes it clear that you can't buy your way into being a good rider, it takes skill and practice.
@phildolecki2598Ай бұрын
Completely agree, there is just amazing talent with Caleb. Obviously every aftermarket parts maker wants him to attach their products but people need to get out and ride before we add every accessory made before the sled will function properly (less those damn Poo clutches, lol!). These newer sleds are amazing right out of the box, they just need the right rider to tell it what to do.
@CalebKesterkeАй бұрын
Doing mods can be a lot of fun but a bone stock sled is extremely capable. More of just an option to mix it up and make your sled more specific for your needs

Hell yeah best of both worlds! Selling your old sled and buying a new one this season. Struggling to decide boost or 9r. I feel the 9r might make me a better rider, worried ill start depending on track speed and not progress at technical riding.

To live in Montana...that powdercoat would EASILY be well over $1k here in Alaska. Edited to ask if you did any tuning on the boost, or left it stock.
@CalebKesterkeАй бұрын
That's wild, I don't really understand why it would be so much more expensive to powdercoat there No tuning or clutching. Stock works so good
@jeffreymissalАй бұрын
@@CalebKesterke part of it is shipping costs for the powder, but they inflate and overstate it. The other part is just because they can; there's only so many powdercoaters in the area and they are ALL slammed, even at these prices. Good to know about tuning (I did SLP clutches on both my '21 Khaos 850 and '24 Khaos 9r though). I'm considering a turbo kit for my '21 Khaos but not sure yet. Rumors are pretty strong about Polaris snow check options this spring...and there's only a handful of times each year we ride above 5000' and wish I had a turbo sled.
@CalebKesterkeАй бұрын
I see, that makes sense! I used to do clutching on my 850s but since Polaris came out with the P22 on Boosts and 9Rs I've been leaving it stock and I've been happy
@jeffreymissalАй бұрын
@@CalebKesterke I'm larger than the average rider (6'2, 265) and have found replacing the helix with a more aggressive ramp helps me tremendously...but you're right, the OEMs have done a TON of R&D.

caleb what paint did you use after you cut the tunnel on the tip of the tunnel?
@boddysurferАй бұрын
You need to colab with CboysTV. Their from Minnesota and they love Polaris, ditch banging and mountain riding out west. Their the guys that broke the Revy snow gauge sign. They need riding lessons from the best and that's you.

@Cummins251925 күн бұрын
@boddysurfer they might be the same age but the cboys act 10 years younger. Caleb's content is geared more towards and older audience wanting to learn. Cboys makes content for kids. That is my point. I see no benefit for someone like Caleb to collab with them.
@JAKDRZR25 күн бұрын
@@boddysurfer I guess to grow his channel it would be good but that would be the only reason. They really do nothing but spend a bunch of money then wreck shit for no real reason and then hoot and holler like 17 year olds. lol Unless that’s just an act for the camera which it probably is.
