This is mystical.. a slightly other worldly feel.. close to the earth yet speaking to the soul. Some music bounces off your ears. This song gets inside your veins.... The lyrics and music are so hauntingly beautiful. I can listen to it all night long... I get that feeling I'm not really here - just sitting at my computer.... I've traveled else where.

shweeb24 I was cleaning my apartment listening to pandora and I enjoyed the songs I was listening to but then the stable song came on... stopped me dead in my tracks... “ who the heck is this???” I immediately had to look up the artist .. something I rarely ever do listening to Pandora... and it was by a man named Gregory Alan Isakov... and that was when I discovered him... his music hit me in my soul... it was a profound experience.. but I’m so grateful for it... I’ve been a huge GAI fan since .

@ FairestPewt I'm sure you know by now, but I believe that is his Gibson J50. That is a guitar he most commonly plays. I don't think they make them anymore but they are very similar to the J45.

I'm with you on this song. Do you know "Colors" by Amos Lee? Listen to the studio version first. Same kind of song for me. And also, listen to "Dusty Road" by Deyarmond Edison, and "Gathering Dust" from David Gray's first (or 2nd) cd from 20 years ago. All incredible songs.

And make sure you listen to the piano version of Amos Lee's "Colors." It's on youtube.

Does anyone have a tab for this song, it's a sweet version and it's a little too dark to track his fingers.
