I am the someone who can perfectly recall the episode in question, lol. I believe it was the very first episode of Iced Drawfee. I remember Caldwell had forgot to press record on their first shot at it, so this was actually their second recording, and Caldwell made Nathan confess to the crime all over again. It's a great ep. To the uninitiated, Iced Drawfee was a lil pre-show warm-up podcast.

I think a cool idea, stemmed off Jacob saying "This makes me want to challenge myself to spend longer on a drawing", would be if you each spent 8 hours on a drawing for speed draw. Then you can talk about your experiences and what went through your minds. People like Nathan and Jacob never spend that length of time on anything they draw so it would be so interesting to hear how they felt hours into a drawing. That's the only prompt. Draw whatever you want, but spend 8 hours on it.

When Nathan mentioned doing a Steven Universe style mashup, my immediate thought was "Heck yeah!" My NEXT thought, though, was doing a Steven Universe Fusion Challenge! Each member of the drawfee crew draws an SU style fusion between themself and one of their co-hosts. For example, Nathan draws a fusion of him and Korrina, Korrina draws a fusion of her and Jacob, and so on. They can talk about what their fusions personality might be, if they have extra eyes or arms, that kind of thing. Just thought that would be a neat idea!

I’d like to see other centaurs. Like, people with the lower half of animals that they just really shouldn’t have (Such as those of a Cockroach, snail, bird, or frog) just trying to do normal human things like waiting in a queue or at the bus stop, possibly near other regular humans who are notably uncomfortable. Yes I’ve been copy-pasting this same comment on every video that comes out. No way in hell I’m gonna type that mess out every time they post something. And I’m not going to stop until they do it. Not like it inconveniences me in any way ...please? Pretty please? I can’t remember how long I’ve been doing this anymore. The only thing that keeps me going is the genuinely supportive replies people keep posting. Thanks y’all. ...you know who I miss? Jake Young. There’s something about the way Julia goes about her art that really hits a good chord for me. As someone who’s always been the awkward neurodivergent kid with just a ton of niche esoteric interests, hearing someone talk about wanting to get across such a specific concept and mood and then watching them do it in such a cool way feels extremely validating. Thanks for the mood boost Julia!

I'll even elaborate because there are things I've only recently been learning that I'm getting to see exemplified in practice and I want to froth among my online art kin - this goes for the whole Drawfee family too - look at those panel lines along the walls, it looks like sort of spaced wood plank facade (with that 45' angle I remember from weird late 80s "fun" public spaces)? And the "wing" lines cut across them at a different angle so it doesn't create a tangent and makes it visually clearer...I mean - we all heard the noises Nathan kept making at Karina and Julia's geometry work (even though Nathan's landscape was...like....sublime?). Jacob, you're good too. I'm just messing, you're an amazing teacher and you know you're better than you make out. Thank all you guys
