How about the Maintenance Data backup. Could you explain why we get “exactly” 2 same folders on this type of backup?

Thank you very much for this video. I have some questions about the following topic. Indeed, I would like to restore the information that I recovered with the Backup. What would be the procedure to follow?
@FutureRoboticsChannel3 жыл бұрын
I'm assuming you are asking about backup recovery ? or you just need to restore single file ?
@loicdaven97693 жыл бұрын
@@FutureRoboticsChannel it's about backup recovery
@FutureRoboticsChannel3 жыл бұрын
@@loicdaven9769 Oh I did not make a video on it yet :-), it's a quite simple process: 1. Get USB with the backup you want to load 2. Go to controlled start 3. Go to FILE 4. if under F4 you see [BACKUP] than click FCTN -> 2. Restore / Backup. Now the option will change to [RESTOR] 5. Select what would you like to restore (if full backup select ALL OF ABOVE) 6. Follow the steps and done :-) You might see that some files will fail to restore, usually those are not important.
@loicdaven97693 жыл бұрын
@@FutureRoboticsChannel I can do step 4. I don't have the option Restore / Backup when I click FCTN -> 2. I also checked all the options offered by FCTN and I can't find any toggle like Restore / Backup. Is there any other way to change this [BACKUP] to [RESTORE]?

Hi, wondering if you have any tutotrial/Video on PMM (Slave amplifier) back up for Fanuc controller. Thanks

Could you tell me a bit more about what you were thinking ? I'm not sure
@westtigers91403 жыл бұрын
@@FutureRoboticsChannel Hi.., I am suppose to replace a slave amplifier. To do so, I need to back up all the data from that slave amplifier to the CNC memory. I am quite sure I need to go in PMM setting to back up these data but I don't know the whole process. I will appreciate if have any tutorials/videos on this. thanks in advance.
@FutureRoboticsChannel3 жыл бұрын
@@westtigers9140 Oh, that's for FANUC CNC, I do not work with CNC's, so unfortunately I cannot help here. Replacing a servo amplifier on the robot is just plug and play (as long as it's the same model). I would assume it would be the same on the CNC (however I do not know that), amplifier does not hold any data, it's just a power supply. On the robot all dat is stored in the pulse coders and robot memory, so unplugging servo amplifier does not affect any data loss.

How to enter the backup programe in the fanuc because i have a probleme when the robot take the box and returns to position 0 ,then place in the pallet not taking and placing directly
@FutureRoboticsChannel4 жыл бұрын
I did not make a video for loading files back yet, but you can do the same thing I'm doing to SAVE single file, but hit LOAD instead of SAVE. So you go to FILE->Select your device (for eg. UD1:)->click ENTER to see all files, navigate to the file you want to load and hit LOAD. It will ask you if you want to override and you say YES. Keep in mind that this file cannot be running or be selected on the robot, because it won't let you load

@FutureRoboticsChannel2 жыл бұрын
Is it the gray screen or the color screen where you are selecting image backup ? It's possible that robot froze during the IMAGE backup, you might need to reboot the robot. I'm trying to use MC: for IMAGE bakups as they should be the fastest and safest way to do a backup

@@FutureRoboticsChannel I used UD1 but it was giving me a FILE-064 Unspecified DOS system Error:72 But then when I connected it to UT1 things worked but then while taking image backup it gave a gray screen and froze over there we shut the thing off manually and turned it on It didn’t happen when we took a backup of the 2nd Robot

@@sahilthakkar6432 DOS system Error might mean one of 2 things: -bad UD1 port (you can just replace it) -corrupted software, you might need to re-install the core software to fix that issue going back to your problem, I've seen that happen quite a few times, what system are you using R-30iB or older ? I always recommend using MC card, because I personally never seen one fail.
