Nice setup you got there sir, may I ask where do you get the splitter wire harness for s3 and ssc1 from? I try to use same setup like your but I can’t find any splitter wire harness for it, thanks 🙏

That dual a pillar is bad ass !!!! Do you have a video of what it looks like on ? Worthy of doin ?
@Ggg-l6r8eАй бұрын
Sorry no videos to share of them in use. Ditch lights definitely come in handy. The smaller add-on pod is nice to get actual ditch coverage if you have forward facing pods.

I notice that your connections on the ss3 and ss1 have a black sleeve over the 4 pin connector. Mine did not come with those sleeves. Did that come with the pods, or did you do some custom work on them?

Those are the 4pin splitters.

Was wondering for your amber backlight for the fog lights where did you end up tapping into for the 12v? I'm pretty new to the whole wiring scene. If not could always give a call.

If you want the back lighting to turn on any time the car is running you will want to use a " add-a-circuit" fuse tap and tap into the fuse panel. I believe I have mine tapped into the Ignition fuse but there is usually a few options to tap into. A lot of 4runner owners already have this fuse tapped due to adding additional accessory lighting such as the front raptor led lights or aftermarket headlights. So basically you tap into the same line using a wire tap if there is already a line being ran to this fuse slot.

Hi, I have a question. I am putting a pair of backlit ss3 on my 4Runner. I’m also putting an extension so I can put another pair of ss3 that are not backlit so a total of 4 ditch lights. I also have a trigger 6 shooter. How do you recommend I wire this up and what harness(es) do I need to get?
@LightwerkzGlobal Жыл бұрын
Really just comes down to custom wiring it up. I would use 4 pin DT and 2 pin DT pigtails. If you purchase the universal pods they come with these. So then you would just extend the wiring and run it to the 6 shooter. The 6 shooter comes with some wiring that you can use. Its all 9006 style connections on that unit that go in/out of each of the 6 power leads. Both of the ditch lights can be on a single line, and the back light feature can be on the next line or it can be connected to any line thats already feeing switched-power accessories such as raptor lights.

Does the ssc3 ditch lights have the same connectors as the ssc2? I currently have the ssc2 for my ditch lights and I want to move up to the ss3 in hopes of Moy splicing wiring just plug and play
@LightwerkzGlobal2 жыл бұрын
Yes, all the connections are the same. You either have 2 pin DT or 4 pin DT (for back Lit pods)

I haven’t hooked my backlights up yet because I’m hesitant to tap into factory wiring. Someone suggested I should just tap into my raptor lights (which were done with add a fuse connected to headlights) will this work or set my truck on fire?
@LightwerkzGlobal8 ай бұрын
Yes thats the perfect wiring to tap into.

Do you know if the ss3 backlight is brighter on the max than the sport? I don’t need a super bright fog but I am interested in the backlight for DRL.

backlight intensity does not change between the pods.

Badass man! Great idea with the extra light by the pillar light... Did you have to get a special mount for the smaller light next to the pillar light?

The SSC1 (small pod) conveniently mounts to the larger SS3 pod. Just happens to work out!
