As far as that self defense convo, word to the wise for anyone reading this. In most states you cannot kill someone from behind because it will be painted as they were attempting to flee. Even if your life is in danger self defense usually only applies when you’re face to face with the threat. So even if a robber is running out of your house or store, it’s the same situation. Stand your ground laws in certain states I believe are a bit more lenient but self defense is tricky. You could still end up charged with manslaughter defending yourself.
