You should also add bungee to the inside on the molle in a “X” pattern to strap stuff to while also leaving the molle available if you want to use it. I did it to mine, makes it easier to stash a rain shell or something light and keep it near the top!

I use that sleeve for my laptop (hate flipping the straps) so that space is all taken up I'm afraid.

That came out quite nice bro! I used a 2strand on my Mr 2dap(we all know those handles need the extra love) Yeah tying knots and adding some custom flavor to packs is part of the fun for sure.

Turned out pretty nice! Is it possible to finish it so the knots point downwards at the end? Adding GoRuck-style zipper pulls to some other bags will probably be my next project.

I have tried ways to do it but it always looks messier. What I tend to do is just cut them off instead of tying them and then just burning the edges and melting them into the loops. It looks cleaner for sure, I was just too scared with this bag ha. The GORUCK style pulls are one I want to tackle as well.

For me, it makes it feel a little more comfortable in my hand. Mostly though, I just like the way it looks. The zippers have gotten a little better, but are still pretty tight on those corners. I tuck them out of the way.

Yeah! I just use some foam or rubber along with the weak sauce handle. Works a treat

I just put in a pre order for a gr2 26l 500d, can you physically see the difference between the 500d and 1000d, or should I say visually see the difference, I hope my question makes sense…
