First off this is by far the BEST REVIEW of anything that I have seen online Jeremy!! Thank you! I am a solo motorcycle camper 5 or 6 lbs is fine but I switched to cot sleeping and was wondering about the inner space if it would accommodate a 75”x28” cot raised about 6” off the ground!! (Considering the slope of the sides etc) I am 6’-3 1/2” tall… Thanks again!!

I bought this tent over a year ago, and feature it in a lot of my videos. I just want to thank you for doing a review on it. It's nice to see a professional make me feel better about what I spent my money on. I'm guessing this and the Naturehike cloud peak 2 are made in the same factory because they are exactly the same. Both tents are a copy of the hilleburg allak 2 which cost around £1100 in the UK.

I can’t decide between the near zero dynalight two person tent or the two person kazoo tent… Between the two which one would you choose if you could only pick one? My dilemmas are I am on a budget but also in the future I would like to include a dog possibly. I know the kazoo is great priced but is it going to be comfortable enough for me (average size)and a roughly 60#-ish dog??

Thanks for the review! I really like the design of this tent but that 3-way zipper on the inner is a deal-breaker for me. There's always a hole where the zippers meet in this style and we have some very persistent bugs here that will definitely find that hole.

Put permethrin on the groundcover. It will kill bugs before they reach the hole.

Yeah there was just no need for a 3-way zipper there. A D-shaped door with a 2-way zipper would have been perfectly fine. My concern has to do more with functionality than bugs - 3-way zippers are a pain to operate, especially when you're half asleep and trying to take a leak.

It's such a neat looking tent with a really cool vestibule. My friend has a 4 person Kazoo tent. She loves it, but way too big for backpacking. You think there is plenty of room in there for an adult and a medium size dog (60 lbs)?

Just got this tent and had a first try at putting it up. Very confused and hope you can enlighten me. The ground sheet: I had a lot of trouble figuring out head and foot end. Then, I messed around trying to set up the main tent, which I finally sorted out, but I'm not sure that I'm stretching out the yellow cords as I should. I think that I should erect the tent, pin down the ground sheet and then lift the tent onto the ground sheet. I guess I'm threading the pole end through the metal clip on the tent and on through the metal clip on the ground sheet but this is where I'm having trouble lining up the tent corners with the ground sheet corners! Any advice?

Hi, I just got this tent and after initial confusion over the head and foot end of the ground sheet, I'm still having problems as I can't seem to get the orange webbing stretched out between poles. When the poles are in the metal tabs the tent is stretched, but the straps are not! Also the ground sheet seems to be a larger footprint than the tent so it's going to stick out and if it rains its going to drop off the tent and on top of the ground sheet! Am I doing something wrong? Also, do you peg the ground sheet out and then remove the pegs once the tent is in place? Thanks for any help you can give

Personally I'd never backpack with a 5.3 lb 2p tent. I use a 2p tent that is less than half that weight, or my 1p tent that is nearly 1/3rd that weight. But I tend to backpack long distances

Poles are not pressfit though. And if poles are not pressfit, they dont last. I said that before, Kazoo doesnt' (and so doesnt' natuhike) understand how the hilleberg tents work. This one has flysheet too high for such footprint to make any sense. The value on this tent is incredible, as is for naturehike cloud peak, but the fact that they dont understand what they are doing shows.
