Backpacking in Seoul, South Korea 🇰🇷 What To Do In 3 Days! Budget Friendly Travel Vlog 2024

We flew directly from the Philippines to Seoul and were blown away by what this capital city has to offer. It’s truly one of a kind and we would encourage anyone to visit as there is so much to do and the weather has been absolutely BEAUTIFUL during our stay!
In this video we wandered around Seoul exploring all the hidden streets and seeing what we could find (like we do on our first day in any place) and tried Gimbap and the very spicy Tteokbokki! We had a wander round the stunning Ewha Woman’s University and also did a lot of shopping - on Hongdae Fashion Street, at the COEX mall and saw the equally amazing Starfield Library and the FAMOUS Gangnam Style statue!

Kimbap(also called gimbap, Korean food) and Maki sushi(Japanese food) are different food. The biggest difference is that nori sushi contains a lot of vinegar, but kimbap has almost no vinegar and contains sesame oil.

Hello you two :) When you mentioned at 14:57 that it (the calm area next to the stream) feels out of place, I remembered how much I like that aspect of Seoul. Seoul can be super overwhelming, especially with the Korean balli-balli-culture, but they managed to build places within the city, where you can fully relax and take a deep breath to calm down. If you're still in Seoul and got 1-2 hours to spare, I recommend you to hike up Buramsan mountain (불암산) or go to Namsan tower - you get a good view over the whole city with not much effort.

You couldn’t be more right! We’re not sure what exactly it was BUT it did feel slightly magical down there. I think maybe because it’s lower down and the traffic noise is drowned out yet you still have sight of the high rises. A mixture of calm and chaos.
