Backpacking PATAGONIA: Los Glaciares National Park and Mt Fitz Roy (Argentina)

After hiking the O-Circuit of Torres del Paine, Chad headed back to Santiago for a few days of tourism, and I headed North to El Chaltén, Argentina, where I spent another 9 days hiking through Los Glaciares National Park and the Lago del Desierto Reserve, ultimately reaching Candelario Mancilla, where I ran into a bunch of people finishing or starting their journey along the Carretera Austral.
While the route was pretty crowded with tourists, hikers, and cyclists all the way up to Candelario Mancilla, the scenery nonetheless was spectacular: the mountains (Mt. Fitz Roy and its siblings) and glaciers surrounding the Southern Patagonian Icefield never failed to disappoint.

Yea, I think you would’ve had a lot of fun. The northern parts were a bit more remote, and the scenery was some of the best I’ve ever seen in the world! 👌

Sorry for your drone... I bought a small one more than a year ago and it's still in the box because I didn't have the courage to take it out and try to fly it😢 of course it makes the videos so much more valuable when you have that beautiful high up perspective 😊

This was my 3rd crash 🤦‍♂️. Fortunately, after my first crash, I learned to buy DJI’s replacement insurance. It’s probably saved me over $1k. But yes, I love catching those high aerial views. 👌
