Backpacking the East Caney Creek Wilderness, AR - Mar 2018

This is a two day hike in the Caney Creek Wilderness in southwest Arkansas, March 2018. The Buckeye Trail and eastern section of the Caney Creek Trail were combined into a ten mile loop. Trailheads are 2-3 miles north of the Shady Lake Recreation Area on Polk County Road 64. Visit the Ouachita National Forest website for more information.
