Nice video! I did this section of the Natchaug as two separate day hikes. Goodwin to Beaver Dam One way with a car spot and then the CCC and Natchaug as a Loop. Thanks for sharing your AllTrails link. It really helps .

Sorry for the delay! I’m not sure if they are issuing permits. They make it a pain to obtain one anyway, I’ve resorted to just going out regardless. Lots of alternate sites on these trails

They’re back to issuing permits, I just secured one for a 4 day Pachaug loop and I’ll be putting in for a loop with Natchaug shortly. I didn’t think it was hard at all to get approved!

Good to know! I’ll have to check again but last year they had a form that you had to print out and scan or mail in... pretty archaic. Also wanted tons of info...

Scott Edelson You’re right that is so archaic and annoying. I just did email! I filled it out on PDF with an e-signature and emailed it and received a reply with a parking permit to put on my dash.
