This channel deserves to blow up in the best way possible. I can't fathom how this channel doest have AT LEAST 10k subs. Keep up the fantastic content my friends! Happy trails!

Thank you Ivan! We're going to chug away over the winter and hopefully get caught up with our backlog of videos. More to come. :)

Agreed! I live in WA and though I'm not advanced at backpacking like you all, I really enjoy watching the videos, and it gets me excited for the easier hikes/photography that I do

Thank you! That shot has actually been the wallpaper on my iMac since we visited there. :)

Your videos really are an inspiration to help get me through this cold season. I'm spending the winter working my ass off so I can afford the time off to spend next summer checking all these amazing spots off my bucket list. Thanks for all the work you two put into these videos, it is very appreciated

The only problem with me editing these videos while it pours rain outside is that it really makes me miss the summer already! :)

You mentioned that you had done Rampart Lakes, I've been looking forward to the Video. Nicely shot. I'm good with comentary, but I like the mic open and hearing the water and wind as well. Just like I'm there, except I don't have to deal with the bugs!
@OutsideAndStuff7 жыл бұрын
Oh man, that was some pretty bad bug action. Probably the most amount of mosquitos I've ever killed in a weekend.

Congratulations Nick. You took one of the most beautiful shots ever since I watch you guys. You're really close to take your subscribers literally with you on the trails. Wow, that was an amazing job! Those last minutes without any words were delicately deep to me. The wind touching Rachel lake, the flowers on Alta... I swear that it touched me deeply.Thank you guys for that and thank you Jen to take me back to the 90's with Offspring as well. See you at the next trailhead! Bravo, Nick! Bravo!

It was a very good surprise, cause I read the description only after watching the video.

Been over 20 years since I been up there. I remember it was good. From what I saw now, better than I remember. Don't recall so many water crossings though. You hit it at a great time, except for the bugs. Some places just got bugs. Keep the vids up. I love 'em!

Thanks for posting all of the places you visit! When I first moved to Washington, I didn’t know anyone and you became my tv friends, LOL! somehow one of your videos showed up on my feed. You helped me learn about the amazing places to hike and now my friends are asking me where to go, thus I’m forwarding your videos. Thank you!!!

Absolutely gorgeous. You hit this at exactly the right time. I experienced similar levels of bugs and snow when I was there years ago. FYI, Mt Thomson is 6554, you have it mislabeled.

I did Lila Lake back in July as well and absolutely loved it up there. I only did one night though. And the bugs at that time where relentless. Still, it was a great way to kick off my first backpacking trip in the US!

I learned my lesson this time. Brought along bug spray the rest of the season, but didn't need it as bad as I needed it at Rampart.

Am I the only one who couldn't find this trail ?? I parked and walked all over couldn't find the trail y'all took. I found a trail but it was closed as in a big bar was blocking the entrance. I hopped over it anyway and tried to keep trucking but I could tell the the trail I was on was obvs not the right one even though it was the only entrance I saw. This trail was wide and looked like the way but it was not maintained and fallen trees and boulders littered the way so I turned around and as I was leaving saw a bear lol so I booked it back to the car after that. But I wanna try again one day but for the life of me have no idea how yall got to the actual trail??

This was published in November but given snow and stream levels, I take it you recorded it earlier in the year. Is that right? My guess is July or late June.

What attachment do you use to hold your camera on your sternum strap? I'm trying to find a way to properly hold my camera while hiking.

Nick, I think one thing that sets you apart from the other hiking videos on KZbin is that you actually have an intelligent commentary. Lots of video have crap music playing. Personally I prefer you guys both talking.
