We’re super exciting to be in Singapore and to show you how we explore the gorgeous city! We visit The Jewel Changi Airport, Gardens By The Bay and also visit the famous Raffles Hotel to experience a Singapore Sling & throwing peanut shells on the floor!!🥜🍹 It’s definitely a lot lot more expensive than all the other countries we’ve visited but still amazing.

You need to come to Singapore on christmas and New Year. On new years eve, at the barge, the fire works starts at 10.30 pm and it goes on until 12 am. The best in the world. It is so beautiful and you will love Singapore. Singapore is the best country in the world.

Eat at hawker center. A plate of Western Chicken Chop is about $6.50 to $7. A bowl of noodle cost about $4.50 to $5. Take the local buses & MRT (metro) It’s cheaper, efficient & convenience.

as a SG local. welcome to SG! hope you have a good time! do consider trying all the food from the different races like Mee Rubus ( Malay ) Roti Prata with chicken or fish curry ( Indian ) Or Chinese like Chicken rice or Mincemeat noodles! ( Most of these you can find in the hawker center ) For cheaper options you can consider going to the heartlands areas like Bishan or Ang Mio Kio. ( You can get there by red line MRT. Also you can use your credit card to tap at the MRT or buss entrance to pay for the ride. Edit : More info ( its quite hot in Singapore recently do take note to have chilled water on you at all times. )

You can practically travel to most places using the MRT and/or bus. There are many cheap food options available at hundreds of hawker centres. You can get food at less than $5. There are some popular ones around Chinatown area. The biggest hawker centre in Singapore is actually near Chinatown MRT station. You have more popular curry puff options in hawker centres costing less than $2. At Little India, there's Tekka hawker centre nearby.

SG is expensive, but you can be thrifty by eating at the many hawker centres spread all over the city. Their food prices are relatively cheap.

Please dont starve yourselves here in Singapore. 😂 We have cheap and good food in our hawker centers. Also do take our MRT to get around town. It is cheap, safe and convenient. Do visit the Gardens By The Bay in the late afternoon (less hot) as well and stay for the light show which comes on at 745 pm and 845pm every night. After that just walk to Marina Bays Sands hotel to catch the free light and fountain show at 8 or 9pm. Hope you enjoy your stay here and experience our food and diverse cultures as well.

This is probably dumb question, but where is the hawker centers? Is it inside the airport / outside near airport? Will visit SG next month 😂

@HealPlss There are many such hawker centers all over Singapore. The ones that tourists visit most are: 1) Lau Pa Sat, which is situated in the CBD area. At night, one of the streets is closed off for hawkers to sell satay which is BBQ on sticks. The food here is relatively more expensive though. 2) Chinatown Food Center 3) Hong Lim Food Center (also in Chinatown area) 4) Maxwell Food Center (also in Chinatown area) 5) Tekka Food Center which will be closed soon for renovation works 6) Satay by the Bay, which is located in the Gardens By The Bay. Food here can be a tad more expensive. 7) East Coast Food Center, which is located on the East Coast Park, a popular beach area. If you like seafood, there are also good seafood restaurants in this area as well. 8) Newton Food Center, which is more touristy and food here is more expensive. These are the more famous ones. They are all open air food courts, hence food is cheaper than those in the aircon food courts. Being non aircon also means it can get quite hot and sticky as well. There are also some stalls which have Michellin stars/awards as well. Generally, you can just spend less than $10 Singapore Dollars for a good meal with drinks. Do pay with cash as these are small businesses and so don't accept credit cards. To know what food is nice, look for the ones with long queues. To order the food, just use simple English or just point to the pictures. Generally, you can just wait to get your food. Or if the food takes longer time, you will be given a device that will alarm you when your food is ready. Singapore is a multi cultural society so you can sample many kinds of food such as Chinese, Malay, Indian, Western etc. Do give them all a try. Once you have eaten your food, do return the tray and cutleries to the Tray Return Area so that the next customers will have a clean table to use. One last thing, in Singapore, we have a "chope" culture where people will use small items such as wallets, name tags, and even tissue packets to reserve seats. So when you see such items just assume the seats are taken. Also, if the place is very busy, it is very common to share tables with strangers as well. Just ask if the seats are taken. Hope you have fun visiting our little island.

Thanks for the trip to Raffles... Once was an " open air" bar, with tall doors! Very British.. To the right of entry was a massive cricket field... Just nothing but Open space!!! In the Bay was Ships and out farther, you could see oil or gas well pipes sticking up and the flames burning!! If you can show a night shot of the Harbor... Spend some money, you're only there Once... Be Safe. Jim
