@Producelikeapro What’s up with the sound of this video. Is it just me, there’s some strange background sound through his voice. I noticed it in more the beginning. Almost sounds like a microphone with a low battery or something…
@Producelikeapro7 ай бұрын
Hmm not sure? Where are you hearing it specifically? I would love to zero in on it. Many thanks, Warren
@MrJeroendemuzikant7 ай бұрын
@@Producelikeapro Hi Warren. Am I seriously the only one who hears that? After your question, I started questioning myself and if I heard it wrong so late at night. But now (at 2pm), as soon as I start the video there is some strange low mid to low rumbling through his voice. Okay, for instance; 2 seconds into the video he says: ‘Hey, we’re here at Backroom Studios.’ In the word BACK. Then it continues, ‘the spot that I’ve been for a very long time.’ With the words LONG TIME. I hear it throughout the video, although it seems to get better near the end. But maybe that’s just my brain adjusting. 😉😄 Well, nobody else seems to be bothered by it. Maybe it’s because I’m listening through a proper amplifier and speakers. I still have a stack of loose components. (even with a cassette deck and a turntable.) But maybe I hear the lows better. Although it is not only the low, it’s also low-mid. And sometimes a sort of ‘bubbling’ sound. I don’t know how to explain that last part better…
@MrJeroendemuzikant7 ай бұрын
@@ProducelikeaproAnd although nobody seems to be bothered by it, I find it very distracting. Just tried it on a different laptop, same result.
@Producelikeapro7 ай бұрын
Yes, through a lap top speakers there';s hardly any low end, through headphones there's some weird low end stuff going on!@@MrJeroendemuzikantNot sure who mixed this, I'll ask!
@MrJeroendemuzikant7 ай бұрын
@@Producelikeapro Hi Warren. Good. 👍 Well I’m almost glad that you indeed found something, because I started to question my sanity here. 🙄😄 Because no one else but me had something ‘bad’ to say about the sound. And that even on a video from Produce Like A Pro, right?! 👀 In my mind I saw you getting reactions like ‘who the hell does that guy think he is, for even questioning the audio from a video from Warren’. But what they, and even you, don’t know is that I actually learned a lot from you through your videos. 👍 About hi-passing (and low) for instance. 🙄😎 I really follow and are subscribed to your channel for years now, I think even from pretty much the beginning of PLAP. I never had enough money for me to buy any of your courses online. Or no way to pay for that if I did. That problem is solved: I have a PayPal account now. But I’ve downloaded quite a few audio multi-tracks from your channel to practice mixing with it. One important thing that almost always came up, on your’s and other channels, (but then with music) was to check the low end. And get it out of things that didn’t’t need that in a mix. Or that even could interfere and be in the way of the bass guitar and/ or the kickdrum. So I was just surprised that I heard that low to low-mid thing in his voice almost throughout the whole video. I thought, well maybe they’re using a new microphone or something. And I know I’m the weird one here. 😵💫 I can pretty much listen to music on the radio or on a cd, and hear it like it was a multi track. That used to be my way to learn different instruments, like bass, or organ parts, anything. I can, in my mind, hear all the instruments in isolation. I think that that also made me hear this so clear. Anyway sir, thank you very much for all you do with Produce Like A Pro. 👍 I also love most of the studio tours. Very interesting and informative. And also the interviews with all those famous recording engineers and the likes. So mister Warren Huart, hope you have a marvelous day. 👀😄 So long, auf wiedersehen.., O wait, wrong role! 😉😆😄 But I’ve heard you do it in Dutch as well, so I’ll just say: Tot ziens! 😎Greetings from Holland. If you might think ‘jeez’ couldn’t he condense his long story?’ Yeah, sorry for this superlong reaction. 😇
