What other studios should we visit? Clear Lake Studios was purchased by World Class Engineer Eric Milos, who took over in 2012. With a complete overhaul, Clear Lake now boasts in Studio A a Trident 80B console with a large selection of outboard equipment, Studio B is a Dolby Certified Atmos Studio with a 9.1.4 PMC Dolby Atmos Speaker Configuration perfect for mixing in Immersive and there two other rooms, Studio C and Studio D!

First off…Hello from Ohio! You know why am a follower and love these videos? It takes me out of all the crappy news, political, rants, raves, and complaint videos that are just too much on KZbin. I watch YouTUbe to get away from network TV and all its commercials…only to find too often that KZbinrs start ranting or their comments do..about negative stuff. Your videos are all very informative, fun to watch, all the hosts have good sense of humor…a pleasure to enjoy. Thank you for all your hard work and please keep the studio tours coming….these are my favorites. Cheers. 🍻

Wow that place brings back some memories........ I did a lot of drum Cartage in there back in the mid-90s. Studio Tours, how perfect. There is a giant Warren-Styled Studionthat might just be right up your alley. It’s in Syracuse New York and it’s Called Moletrax. Named after the guy who pretty well built the whole place himself. Built around a 72-channel Neve VR with TONS of vintage Neve outboard channels and mic pre’s, as well as clones for comparison. Tons of vintage tube mics. Enough hot, live tubes to heat the air up considerably!! One to watch for sure!

Alan Smart compressor on room mics; yay! I love seeing SSL style mix bus comps used during tracking, especially drums, and they're killer on room mics. So far our fav is the Dramastic Audio Obsidian, an amazing mix bus comp but fantastic on room mics. Great tour and studio, thanks, keep it up, you PLAP folks are the best! Cheers!

I can get used 1037B for $2500, should I go for something newer at that price point? I also have a sub I can pair with the new monitors so i’m looking for the most detailed mids and highs at the price point. used monitors preferably

what a nice looking studio to work in...thank you for the peek i would LOVE a tour of Nightcastle studio in Orlando FL but i bet it would be challenging because it is now owned by Trans-Siberian Orchestra and the O'neill family but it used to be owned (as you may know) by the Morris brothers and was known as Morrissound Studio but TSO bought it to use as their HQ but in any case i do quite enjoy getting these peeks into what is out there...thanks again and be well always
