I love the fact that there is no soundtrack and that the creature is not growling. Somehow the silence makes it more real, immersive and even quite intriguing or nerve-wracking.

Its silent cause its a predator. It doesnt make sense to alert your prey that you are there.

1:51 I like how it stops following you. I like the idea of non-hostile backrooms entities that are more like backrooms wildlife. Maybe it followed you because it was curious, but it doesn't want to get too close because it's cautious. Or maybe it's a sort of mimic, where it runs because you run, and it stopped because you stopped. Or maybe it has no object permanence. Since the backrooms make no sense, why should the creature behaviour make sense? Predators make too much sense - they hunt for food/sport, and that's it. Creatures that chase you for no clear reason are more compelling lore-wise.

I like the idea of non hostile entities or monsters. That stringy entity is one of few Backroom entities I've seen that doesn't want to harm the camera person but is just curious and likes to follow around

I think it's great that this entity doesn't make any sound and randomly stops chasing but keeps lurking in sight. This makes its appearance much more organic and characteristic. It is like the unpredictable behaviour of some aggressive reptile or insect.

Thats actually a pretty crazy thing. It's got an approximated human shape, but is made of strings. Slightly ghost-like.

Love that look too. The appearance isn't just scary or grotesque like most creators design their entities but just "interesting weird", mysterious and somewhat esthetic. That's one of the backroom videos I watch over and over again. Just perfect.

This is REALLY good, man, most of these that people do don't capture the horror very well, but this one does except for the sound. If this has some creepy monster sound effects and a little more stressed-breathing from the guy, it would be fucking terrifying.

In my opinion, I find the silence of the entity more eerie as if you were walking around carelessly you wouldn’t hear it coming. It adds to the strangeness of the back rooms as it doesn’t make literally any sounds whatsoever

this is one of the best camera jobs ive seen, when the camera is NOT moving. when its moving it just feels floating and whatnot. so does everyone else's, i suppose thats one of the hardest things to get right. especially when you cant go very fast without it looking fake, but you also cant very well bore the audience. but anyway i wanted to compliment your nice standing camera work. ps the sniffle was a nice touch. maybe you only shouldve sniffled once tho? but yeah, nice touch.

I assume that, in this dimension, dust and dirt do not accumulate in an ordinary fashion. There are occasional exceptions (e.g. dead bodies, gratified walls, etc.), but, for the most part, cleaning is unnecessary in the Backrooms. Thus, the absence of electrical outlets to plug in a sweeper.

Some small advice, to make the running more exciting and realistic I would have the camera be pointing downs and shaking a lot more since usually people who run while holding cameras just drop it down and swing it with their arms, I also think some stains on the carpet and walls would add variety. Great animation tho

fantastic. the floor seems bumpy, the sound is great, and the entity moves fluidly, and with weight. only place i can think of for improvement if what you want is realism - maybe make the camera movements more frantic, frenetic. the camera here moves like its on a dolly.

You need to work on your backrooms architecture, dunno if anyone else noticed but you made them like 1-way hallways as opposed to how the Backrooms generally looks with different openings in random areas. What you got looks like normal building structure.

I personally interpreted it as curious/interested in the person holding the camera, not having seen one before and not knowing what to do with them. You'll notice it approaches the character, but keeps its distance from them, even when they clearly know it's there and aren't moving fast at all. If it _is_ potentially predatory, it's clearly of similar size and trying to figure out if it should or could engage the character by observing their behavior.
