Is this a clone with some variations from the tutorial from full stack from youtube tech with tim?

First off, thanks for checking out our capstone video. We were not aware of this tutorial until your comment sent us on a search to find it. We wish we had seen that tutorial before we started creating BSDJ because it probably would have cut down on the amount of time we spent building some of the same features. I suppose you could say this is a clone, but if you are in the capstone course now, you will soon find out that there are a lot projects that have already been created. In fact, if i remember correctly there is an assignment were you need to find projects on the market that are similar to your teams and talk about how your project is different from theirs.
