This is an idea I had when I started learning to code: something that could suggest secure passwords and help store them securely across all your devices. I had no idea how to implement it and it was meant to solve my password needs, so I ditched the idea.

Docker is essential. Definitely should be on must learn list.
@jeffschwab29572 күн бұрын
Absolutely. Docker feels like the classic example of "shit no-one learns in school". I know I sure didn't learn about it until my tech lead taught me.

Awesome vid. Very informative and spot on. I'd add on tools like selenium (which I just followed a tutorial of in one of your vids), cucumber and cypress. Thanks for the great info you put out!

@@יצחקי-צ6חremember that an experienced software developer would also have access to these tools. If a novice can get something working in a day or two, an experienced dev could do that in under an hour. AI is all about efficiency, not replacement

I appreciate your hard work, but I have to be honest - I'm feeling quite conflicted about AI these days. Just yesterday, Claude helped me create an entire web application, frontend and backend included, generating around 30,000 lines of code without me needing any coding knowledge. It makes me wonder about the future of programming as a profession - when AI can do so much so effortlessly, what will be left for human programmers to do?
@OpeyemiIsrael2 күн бұрын
If you would out all those codes together and create something unique then you would know how it feels to be a developer. It's not just about writing codes. Especially when it comes to the frontend structuring, you will see lots of conflict...

Ai can write code and create amazing web apps but ai cannot help you scale that site or personalize it that's were developers play a role

Ai can't personalize or costumize the web application, companies still hire humans to get the job done. Ai is just a tool, the developers use. At least this how I convince myself that I will get a job in the future!
