I actually think Haydon was right that the retirements kind of killed the race. The Ferrari engine disasters kept us from having a real battle for the lead between Leclerc and Max. Instead, the race was such a comfortable win for Verstappen that there were even calm and casual discussions and debates over the team radio "do we aim for 47.5 or 47 flat for laptimes?"
