What I love the most in this show is that most of the people working on it - onstage and offstage - are mostly women!! LOVE THAT. Especially since this show is such a female-centered musical!

Was Thomas worth the wait? Of course not. After Henry died, Elizabeth came to live with them. Thomas fell in love with her. He often hit on her and eventually tried to divorce Catherine Parr and marry Elizabeth. Not worth it.

A lil fact: Katherine Parr's Thomas was actually Jane Seymour's brother. He wasn't great. He was power greedy and he actually tried to kill their brother Edward but he did it wrong and killed their family dog instead. And Jane's line: "I'm the only one he ever loved" is believed to be true mostly because Henry the 8th dying wish was to be buried with her. (Which he was)

She lived with Katherine and Thomas and after they were caught being close together she left the home. We don't know how far things ever went but he wanted a teenage girl who was his wifes step daughter. Ick. It's also thought he was setting up to take down his nephew so he could marry elizabeth and rule with her. He was later executed for his part in the plot.
