A refreshing change to see a band who don’t have any egos at all . A real hardworking down to earth bunch of musicians. Credit to them

Great Interview! I have followed Pete Thorn for many Years, and he's a great friend witch I never got to meet but he helps a long list of Guitarist & Musicians with a personal pept talk & guide to all Things Sound & Gear. With Pete drawn hear means so much to all who knows PETE THORN I really love to see the show live but for me it's to far to travel & Health. But I have tried to follow all I can find and the Band is so good my hats are off 2 James Cole & intire Crew from the Director James to the roadies, can't forget those backbones to the intire project! TY for doing a great job on bringing us a little bit closer to the Band. From USA we don't have The Classic Rock Show in the States witch we hope they get to come to the States?? We need to keep real Music Alive and James has got all Pros keeping Rock n Roll Alive!! TY James Cole & everyone in the CREW! God Bless!! PS: Please bring to States or put on a DVDS 4 us FANS who can't make it to Europe!!

Thanks Ryan for a great comment about Pete and what is a brilliant show. Hopefully one day you will be able to experience it for yourself which I hope you will do. CMP produce great shows to a high standard and if you haven’t already, check out Rumours of Fleetwood Mac who do tour Canada and the US. Cheers Kev 😊👍

Brilliant interview of a superb musician who can mix it with the best. Over the last couple of years James has really come out of his shell. He has always been Mr dependable but now looks comfortable in fighting for stage space which has complimented the stage prescence of the band.

I couldn’t agree more Paul, not only being a great guitarist in his own right, but also being the musical director, producer and he’s even managed to squeeze in time to be a great bloke too. Thanks for your comment. Cheers Kev 😊👍

@@GigsandGuitars Having seen them at Cambridge again this year and also obtaining a copy of the new CD and DVD I have to say that they have moved up into yet another level and the stage prescence is off the charts. Been around a long time following live music since the early sixties and this fantastic group of musicians are as good as it gets and to me are the best live band around. There are many greaat bands and musicians around the world but not so many that performs live night after night to the level that this band does. The world is their oyster and they certainly have the talent to become global.

Great interview. I was blown away by the tone at the Swindon gig and was wondering about James' rig - turns out it is pretty much what I am doing, using the fractal in 4CM together with my tube amp - amazing results! I shall refer all the naysayers to this video!

@@GigsandGuitars I suspect you'll find the pickups to be very different. I had a JS2400 series and it's clear to me that Joe likes a more hot-rodded pickup sound, where Pete is a vintage-inspired guy. That said, I've played a couple of the PT Suhrs and they are absolutely spectacular.
