Hornbill is typically called "burung taun - taun" (literally years bird) in Papuan Malay in coastal areas of Bird's head area n northern coast areas of WP. Thanks for sharing this, It's been years missing hearing this bird's sound. Btw, I just laughed when seeing one of kiddos' reaction asked his friends in Papuan Malay when you handed in the fish. "but Who' s gonna bring (this fish) to the shore?" (And possibly whose home). Then his friends showed that kind of reaction I know best 😅 As (diaspora) native Papuan Malay speaker living outside the region, This is hilarious 😅 Thanx for sharing. Your videos really help to kick out my homesickness on West Papuan coastal areas.
