Be proud! Complete new skates are so rare. All the major companbies just release different colors of same molds or monor tweaks. You build something from the ground up and it looks awesome. I'm a soft boot guy but I'll buy a pair just to support the cause!

Good for you! I'm 44 I am an OG roller myself and you definitely rolled everything under the Sun so you definitely understand yourself. I REALLY like these skates, massive props. The white ones look super slick, the flat based/plastic boot with heel pad is essential for me, having skated Salomons back in the 90s and 2000s. A skate that feels like a hockey skate is big for me also, I always laced and buckled my skates up super tight, I'm all about ski boot style stability over floppy ankle topsides. Only personal drawback I see in the design, is I prefer the set back salomon style royale grooves, I sit much better on Royales/backslides when my feet are tweaked, feels weird laying them down at 90 degrees into the modern style grooves but it seems that's just me. Seems you managed to bone it nicely however! Would you say they fit wide or narrow? I have wide ass feet so am limited as to what fits.

The boot base will be open source, so look for third party soul plates to be available. Might find one that’s perfect for your style. They’re a fairly average width, Blank/909 feeling for me

Question for y’all. I haven’t skated since 2002. I used to agressive inline skate for a few years(12-15 years old), I remember my only pair of skates I had were some white roces… I’m getting back into it now and I just got some roces m12 ufs and I would like to know the difference in all the other roces m12 skates. What is different then the base model? Why are there like 10 different names attached to these skates?

Welcome back! That’s an excellent question, but I don’t have a good answer. Roces comes out with new colors every few months. The only thing to really consider is the height of the cuff. Typically their low cuff is best for aggressive.

@backtoblading Question on the sizing. Im 278 mondo and have the them 909 intuition liner. Will the black medium them 909 intuition liner fit in the standard medium shell? I used the printout. And the liner is barely longer that the shell. Thanks!

278 would be pretty close on the medium. I bet it would fit but you’ll likely get some toe jamming. Stock liners on the large more likely, or a thicker intuition

@backtoblading quick question normally I wear a size 10 us in both skates and shoes typically, but in skates I always have a problem with width. According to your size guide I can easily fit in a medium shell length wise but the outside of my foot is well outside the line, right where I always get a pressure point. So my question is are the widths on all the shells the same or should I size up to a large for width reasons. Thank you for any help I don't have a skate shop nearby to ask.

The width is a bit harder to show in the drawings. They’re not wide boots, more a normal width like Blank or 909. I wouldn’t size up, you e got plenty of length. Maybe a second skin or RL1 and go linerless
