Very thorough explanation of the differences between the two models. I use the TM2 precisely because I want the combination of excellent projection potential and moderate reed requirements. I'm surprised that other mouthpiece makers don't provide such direct, professional comparisons -- with the pros AND cons -- of their facing options.

Thank you for presenting a format in which he has the opportunity to go into such detail about the mouthpiece, his approach, and so on. I know the average attention span of a typical KZbin viewer will leave much of this exploration untouched, but I, for one, really appreciate getting to go so in depth with such a great musician.

As a bassoonist who plays saxophone, I prefer more close mouthpieces, such as a Selmer S90 170/180, and the TM1 works very well.
