"Nobody's obligated to accept your lifestyle." That gave me chills for some reason. I love the truth y'all have in your songs. *fist bump*
@cermit23766 жыл бұрын
Justin Borthick It might just be because I've been exposed to many blunt points of view but that statement doesn't really stand out to me. In fact, it seems rather obvious no one is obligated to accept another's lifestyle. To me at least, not the left.
@dantelan-i-er54664 жыл бұрын
@@cermit2376 It's super relevant today. Especially with all this lgbt acceptance being rammed down people's throats. The sad thing is that a lot of people need to be told that because they think people are obligated to accept their lifestyle.
@darrenthetuber7434 жыл бұрын
@@cermit2376 I don't know what he means by accepting a "lifestyle". Well it exsists, and a person has a right to exist, it shouldn't have to be enforced, it should be within our own means to accept to it, we don't have to like it, but we have coexist with it
@thoughtpolease71834 жыл бұрын
@@darrenthetuber743 agree, I kinda feel like it needs an explanation. Is he saying that people are in their right to try and stop other people from being gay? That is definitely one way to read it, but I don't think that is the point. But... Then what IS the point?
@supernintenjoe89113 жыл бұрын

FINALLY. A band that takes on weighty social problems without swinging to the extremes. Point out the problem, but don't cause a bunch of problems with your solutions. The answer is personal accountability, and accepting and allowing others to go their own way whether you understand it or agree with it or not, so long as they don't harm you from going your way.

I don't normally do this, but i feel like this band and this song in their way are bringing up the situations going on in america right now. AND i encourage to not listen to the music, but the words that come with it. I really do. if you listen to it, its coming out of a broad prospective not just a single opinion. Not Black, white, latinos or any other race, this is just pointing out the OBVIOUS and bringing it into music, which is something every musician needs to do. this song is too good.
