I would have sofa bed in the loft and put the tv up there. Then i would put a full size fridge and washer and dryer where the sofa is downstairs

Regarding the lack of a bathroom sink: I have a small rental with a similar setup. The kitchen sink is right outside the bathroom door. No tenant has complained about it; it's all right there before they decide to move in, and they figure it's worth the oddity of brushing their teeth at the kitchen sink. However, mine does have a tub in the bathroom, so if you get into some, um, compromising situation on the toilet and really want to clean up before using the doorknob or going out "into the house" if you have a guest there, you can wash up at the tub spigot. The shower-only situation in this Tiny House would make that a little more difficult. If, by chance, a few people complain about it, the owners could probably find an extra-tiny sink, just for hand-washings, to put in a corner of the shower. Very beautiful little house, though!

I've seen the toilets with the sinks on the back of the commode. I think that's a better space saving option.
@lauracooskey94812 жыл бұрын
@@crystalpoindex You're right! I forgot about those. Personally, i can't afford any upgrade right now, but that would be a good thing to consider (i'll find out how much they cost, doesn't seem it should be much if they are as common in Japan as the Facebook posts suggest)-- seems the retrofit, replacing the tank lid, would be pretty simple.

I I never saw the point in having two sinks in a tiny house. It just seems like a waste of space.
@landlockedwy4603 Жыл бұрын
I feel like if you’re going to the effort to build a tiny house on a foundation, why not make the loft tall enough to stand in?!
@AlanToscano Жыл бұрын
That’s a good point! I’m sure in most cases where the lot is large enough, you could easily do that. I’m guessing that there are some restrictions in Chattanooga where this is that may not allow you to build over a certain height if you are 5’ from the fence.
@landlockedwy4603 Жыл бұрын
@@AlanToscano you know, I did not even think about that! Great point
