Thx for sharing. I’m about to put one of these together. Would you suggest anchoring the 4 posts down to anything? Or is it heavy enough to stand alone?

It is pretty heavy. I live in an area where hurricane's are an issue so I have anchored it to the concrete pool deck I have it installed on.

Yes I did, I spent about 3-4 hrs in garage assembling the larger sections then 3-4 hours assembled roof and putting it all together

Great tips!!!! I actually bought the display and have to go into the store and take it down. Do you have any tips on the best way to do it? I'm renting a truck so I can keep as many pieces together as possible. I was thinking for sure to start at the roof.

Should be able to break it down into 4 pieces roof which is just 6 brackets, front roof beams, back beams and the 2 sides

You will want at least 3 people and a ladder

Fully charged cordless drill, hopefully they give you the hardware pack because it has the bits you need to take off hardware and take some zip lock bags for the hardware

Just got my Saxony XL and just need to put roof panel on. I am considering putting wooden roof structure on first and then put the sheet metal on after, using ladder to go up through the rafters to screw each panel down. I just figured it’s less weight to lift and less chance of damaging the sheet metal when lifting the roof on. Since you’ve done two of these can you see any issues putting sheet metal on after rafter unit is already up?

You can definitely do that, probably easier to get everything square and screwed down on the ground. It really was not difficult to lift it up and on with the help of my wife and daughter.
