Also! I was wondering if, after the stocks got down far enough, and tilled, if another crop could grow there. I'd think potatoes would be a good one, or carrots. Something that needs not so compact ground to grow in. This is so helpful!!!

I plan to plant a small amount of HRWW to be harvested for display (my ancestors were the Mennos who brought it over). It was helpful to see your soil prep and the date for planting. Please share your planting tech ie how deep? does it need to be have the cover soil pressed down? and any other helpful tips. Thanks so much! Joy

Does the weedwacker cause damage to the wheat berries to prevent sprouting?

@jasonjanes32562 жыл бұрын
@@GarrisonLeRock GO FOR IT! Kansas is in the top 10 for growing in the US - BUT depends on how much you want to grow, do you have a controlled flood area with temp control heaters ? For wild rice the water needs to get above 50 degrees for the rice to germinate, which limits your grow time Average temp in Kansas is around 45 TO 50 degrees, so depending on how much area you have to set up the pond or flood area, but your good - Watch for the GMO crap circulating with human genes in the rice - These sick-o-fantic science geeks are so bored they have time to put human genes in rice for fun, and that's the non-censored information - keep it real, keep it wild If there is a California variety you want, let me know, I'll do my best to source it out - Cheers!
