Hey, sis! As always, things are looking lovely. My husband gave me an idea for the garage windows. He said they have outdoor shutters for windows. His suggestion was to get some black ones to cover the windows. His second idea was screen panels. I thought that was a great idea also. 😊❤

Emonie, just a suggestion, and you may already have this in mind, but 2 to 4 Adirondack chairs around the fire pit would set that area off.

The backyard is coming along great! Please consider putting a sealer on your fence within the next few months (and redoing every 9 - 12 months after that)... or after all that hard work the wood will start bowing and the knot holes appearing. Get an attachment for your downspout so the water flows out to the grass and not to the patio area. You have done some really nice work outside! Maybe attach the curtains to the wood like hair extensions? Fold the curtain in half. create a loop and thread that over the wood then push the other end of the curtain through the loop. That way the curtains won't blow away when it gets windy! 🌷🪻🌸🩷

Hey Emonie great job ! Have you ever thought about getting your string lights from Walmart to put on the patio and your fence and also I think a couple of palm trees for the patio and your favorite candle on the table and maybe some battery operated candles for those lanterns lastly you can also turn your pathway lights downward toward the actual pathway to light it up.May you continue to be Blessed and create the space you wanna live in💕☀️

Good morning Emonie, Looking good...here a small tip for your net curtains ,buy some double-sided tape and place it up around top portion of your patio, also your fire pit will look very beautiful with the glass stone in the bottom of it .I think you should buy a pit cover to cover up your fire pit for when it rains so your wood doesn't get wet.Also place the outdoor light leading up to the patio and around the sides of it and pull your other light upward from hanging down .Amazon also has outdoor waterproof curtains ....Love your new patio coming along beautifully.

The patio furniture is beautiful I love it you really created a space to live in. A hot tub may be an option a cozy spot for two especially for date night the tables are gorgeous. You are doing great with the outdoor space. Relax too❤. DIY art for your garage windows. Shower curtain fabric over a frame or canvas weather proof it.Take time to rest Sis. It’s your space the inspiration will come take your time ❤

Could you paint the garage window trim black ⚫️ and then put window planters under your windows. U can put pops of colors in the flowers. Put pillows that could compliment it in total. Just a suggestion 😊😊

Ollie’s is also a great place to find really nice large and heavy planters for good prices. And if you see a pot shape you like but it’s not the preferred color, spray paint or stain it. I like the versatility of the two tables. Leave them together for one look. Separate them for another look.

Hey Emonie. I lreally love what you have done with your new home. Please don't change the outdoor rug. It jazzes up your patio space and goes well with the color of pergola. I'm not sure if the nets are less expensive than the outdoor curtains, but putting them on a rod will give you the flow that you are looking for. You can cut them in half and use fabric glue to hem top for placement through the rod. I like the tables. They are the right size, and the round shape goes best with the geometric rug. For window coverings, you could outdoor bamboo shades. They can attach to the outside of the window frame and roll down. I have seen them on porches to block out the sun..Turning the sofa section so rhat the back is against the garage will open the floor more and the party can flow to the grass section of your yard. . Now, that firepit is saying it😊. 4 Adirondack chairs would look really nice around the fireplace. Good luck with completing your space. Despite all that is said, make your space something that you love..

Hello dear friend, I'm watching your video of the new additions to your back yard and have a few suggestions. I hope you don't mind. Try moving your sofa with the back to the garage. It will open up the walk way to the fire pit. Also try stringing the LEDs across the back of your pergola. Just swing the sofa to the left ❤

Get a cowboy/ stock tank pool for the other corner of the fence . You probably have room to have it surrounded by a little deck and 2 lounge chairs and an umbrella!!! Ohhh I forgot to add, your space looks great !!💖

Make sure purchasing a pressure washer the psi is at least 2500 or more. 😊 If you have a Dollar Tree Store, same black tables $5@. What about a picnic table? Resale shop may have patio chairs and table. Black shutters for garage windows, comes different sizes. Do you have a Habitat for Humanity Store, Salvation Store, etc . 😊 what about trellis?

Hey girl, if you have an outdoor light you can get a plug attachment so you can plug in outdoor light. Also you can add motion lights to your fence posts. They have ones that have different modes, I have them and I love them. Coming along nice.

Hi Emonie, you said exactly what I said about the rug. The squares and the triangles make the patio look too busy. The table should be used as end tables. I love the fire pit. Yeah making the fire pit a patio with pavers is a good idea.Buying sheer curtains for the patio would look better. Peace,Love and Blessings Always!!!!!!!

I suggest you get some waterproof outside curtains in a darker color. The curtains will give you a little more privacy. Get you some rest we will be here when you get back.

Awesome job, glad you fixed the fireplace. You need to get some water proof outdoor curtains for your pergola that are water proof and for outdoors they willlook better , be cheaper and last longer . The canopy curtain are going to be destroyed outside and be nasty and dirty and tear up outdoors

Hello Emonie I love your content and what you have done to your new home I just wanted to say an above ground pool will be really nice in your back yard although it will be a lot of maintenance but just think how. Nice it will be and for your back fence to the ally you can also consider for a little more privacy some shrubbery like the tall trees to grow up so it want be so easy to look over the fence all and all great job inside and outside of your home Oh yeh And for a more tropical look maybe to big plants are Bamboo trees in front of the garage windows so that you want see the windows as your sitting in your nice area yes keep up the good work you are doing awesome

Hi Emonie,🖐🏽 the backyard is really coming along nicely yes the curtain panels needs to be outdoor curtains however they definitely give the vibe. I think that if you put at least two tall green plants out there it will definitely give a more finish look❤fyi... if you get the bright lights opposed to the soft lights you will get a much brighter light outside I had to learn that the hard way, but I was able to return mines and switch them out😊

Add tall trees to the back fence line for complete privacy from apartmentcomplex. Depending on the size it'll take time for them to grow taller. Look into some Arborvitae evergreen trees.
