Funny thing, as a sole proprietor he is exempt from OSHA, i.e. OSHA exists to protect employees of a company. But I agree that barefoot chainsaw work is sketchy at best.

You have inspired me! (hello from Australia)... I am helping in my hometown part time for other reasons, but while I am here I started helping with the local MTB Park (mostly XC trails). And cleared some trails that haven't been cleared in a while, refurbed some berms, made a flow trail really flow again... and now because of watching your channel, I've been inspired to make my first wooden feature!! ha ha doing a small whale tail on a flat space on far end of the Boundary trail (where no-one would suspect a feature would come up!)... the trails only have a couple of ladder bridges over rocks/ledges... so this will be the first real stand alone wooden feature! thanks for the inspiration
