The cook looks great! I have been making bacon wrapped hotdogs with my mom since i was a kid. One thing we always did was slice the hot dog (about 3/4) the punt slice American cheese in it and then wrap it in bacon.

Once a week. “Wall” “twin” battle cooking. Head to head cooking with a wall in between. Pick something from the past you both wanted to try a different way. Put up a wall so you can’t watch each others griddle but can still see each other’s face. Cook head to head see who’s take is better. Have the family judge it. Blind taste test. Smash burgers would be a good start. Should make for good smack talk comedy.

Must. Make. These. Soon!! My husband just wheeled my new Blackstone 1901 onto the back patio! (HEBD to me!!!!) Holy Crap it’s gorgeous. Had to take a pre-assembled one because all 5 of the boxed ones delivered to the Ace Hardware store were damaged and they were returning them to Blackstone, so they guy gave us the assembled floor model for no extra charge! Sweet! It’s heat index of 105* with 400% humidity here right now, so I’m waiting until the sun goes down to season it and make smashburgers!! My second new Blackstone this summer! I’m spoiled! Just got a 22” Adventure for camping, and sold my 17” to a friend. After upgrading to the 22, but husband was like “aww maybe we should just get a stationary one for the house too” 🤣 Love your vids. I did something similar to your bourbon chicken when we were camping last week, but I cheated and used a jarred General Tso’s sauce and steamed some broccoli under my basting cover. Delish. Family loved it. But I got the idea from your videos. Keep on keeping on.

I’ve had trouble too regarding the jalapeño pepper poppers- particularly pertaining the proverbial popper part producing plentiful pop, projecting powerful positivity permanently! But I’ll move on to these bacon wrapped “dawwggs!” And you’re right, Adam- when wrapping the bacon, don’t forget the tuck. Those looked great, I love a chili dog, but with bacon... next level right there. I may order some of that meat sauce and give it a try. I am not sure how how I feel about top slit buns, just feels weird to me, and they don't seem to hold as much stuff. I like the concept, but it just never works for me. It kind of reminds me of how Subway used to cut their bread back in the day, lol. In an attempt to tie this cook with your last (Peanut Butter Burger), there is a hot dog I like to make on occasion. Bacon wrapped, with peanut butter and roasted jalapeno slices... it's amazing. Sometimes I add some shredded cheddar and onions too. Have a great week, and Griddle On!

The tip cut buns for sure can be a little tight, but we’ve found they are great in that they never split apart and have a good integrity. When I was a kid back in the 60s they always did hot dogs wrapped in bacon when we went for family reunions served with a nice side order of baked beans homemade of course you put homemade baked beans next to your bacon wrapped hot dogs and it was the best thing you ever had however now I can't eat hot dogs that way

Stretch the bacon first. Use a tooth pick

We were actually really surprised that it stayed on so well! We tucked the first end in, and then just ensured we started the cook with the end side down so it would begin to hold the curl before we turned it. Worked like a charm!

Thank you so much for watching Rosemary! We have found that trying to toast the inside of the hot dog buns pulls them apart. Also, these particular ones are cut across the top, no allowing for a far enough spread to toast the inside. Take care!
