Most of the Engwe bikes are pretty good, I'd highly recommend the Suntour NCX suspension post.... Makes a huge difference, and I'd probably install wider handlebars and on the brakes, even going 20mm bigger on the rotors helps a lot, like on my Cannondale. Great video as usual BB, thanks 👍😁

Hi Bacon butties just got the engine pro 2.0 I have enabled throttle control but will. Only go 4 mph on the throttle is they a setting I am missing ? Plus can the speed be unlocked from 15.5 mph ? Many thanks Phil

Speed unlock is by pressing minus and plus buttons at the same time to go into settings and set speed to the max it will go. I assume the throttle is set for the legal requirements in the UK. Someone in the comments section said they asked engwe directly and they told them how to do it.

@@philiptaylor6911 You can try to re adjust the calliper by slightly loosening calliper bolts ..depress brake lever and tighten bolts while keeping brake lever depressed on. Sometimes the squeak may go on it's own after a bit of use.

Both great bikes...I prefer the Engine Pro 2.0 as it's nicer to pedal. M20 is the better looking bike

Just an update my old comment doesn't seem to be here but i received the eu version (not what i ordered) but after being initially disappointed as throttle was disabled and cut of on assisted was 11mph and usual changes in settings didnt work on this version i contacted engwe and they showed me a way to get in settings and change parameters now the bike performance is as expected. I also found that changing another setting gave me 42mph assisted and 32mph throttle for off road use obviously. You never know might do a review myself 😂😂😂😂

Ita ebike but not for me to much pedal I mean if it was 500 wat pedal assist mite be a little better 250wat is road legal it's a shame the government increase the watts a bit more. I. 76yrs I've spoke before I've made a video not riding I'm not well now I've still got my 2000wat 52v 45amp and the fat tyre bike which I'm selling. 1500wat is a good bike it's a pitty these young lads do weelys in shop centre that's what spark of with government and police. It's a great way of getting around in summer just cruising along nice. There is a kit that fits on disc a cog very expensive it's more than a bike kit don't if you seen it it ws on Facebook. If not lokk6it up on utube we'll over a thousand pond can't remember name just put in ebike kit disk cog or more to that spec. Still like your videos and the chat good health to keep up the videos

Watching videos in the fields it looked like you were on a road drill for to have front and rear suspension it didn't look smooth over the bumps. A ebike that does from 0 to 18mph or up to 27mph no good waist of money boyo

Removing comments about the differences in the review samples you’re given for free and the models received if you order one yourself is hardly something an honest reviewer should be doing. Do you not wish your viewers to be given all the details required to make an informed purchase. Are you worried you’ll stop being given free bikes if you leave the comments alone?

Indeed, that being the case then of course you have my unreserved apologies. You’ll remember a comment somebody posted in all capitals. That comment and the thread following it, which I felt contained useful information, has sadly been removed. It must be a mere confidence that your pinned comment regarding contacting Engwe Customer Services was posted minutes after I posted a reply containing instructions on how to remove the undocumented and unmentioned restrictions this bike arrives with in the UK and EU. A reply which has now been removed. I assume you would have no issues with me reposting those instructions as a service to your viewers?

@@baconbuttties I’m glad we got that resolved. As I say, I offer my apologies. I am just frustrated that Engwe send one version of their products to reviewers, like yourself, who do a very good job and an inferior version to customers. Not every video makes it clear that products have been offered freely. I still don’t think it’s unfair to question the validity of reviews where products are sent for free. That isn’t aimed at you in particular but meant as a general comment. When a KZbinr’s channel is entirely dependent on receiving free products for review, I don’t think it’s controversial to suggest that conflicts of interest can arise. And when comments disappear for no reason, it only helps feed that distrust.

@@Saturnuria I have never had any issues with any Engwe ebikes that have been sent to me, also I believe that person was in the EU which could mean some parameters are different. Another point to make is did the bike do what it claimed on the website? If it did then complaining that he can't unlock it isn't Engwe's fault.

I have to spend the last 10 minutes. Checking out on Facebook and KZbin. It is surprising on how many people are having problems with this bike and their poor customer service? Have you ever thought about doing that before you do? Reviews of their products. I have one. Of these bikes. It's 3 months old. The battery is knackered. I am getting no help from them. Whatsoever buyer beware.

@@michellebrown6824 I have never had a problem with Engwe ebikes... People have had some off me and never had a problem. If a company sells a lot of ebikes then I would expect some to go wrong. What was Engwes response your battery?
