I did a montage of the video "Bad Apple!!" to go with the full version. The song is sang by Nomico and made by Alstroemeria Records.
At some places, it's not lag. It's just the video that is slow down.

Adriana Meals Turns out Bad Apple actually came from PoDD, or Touhou 3, forget which stage/boss but I know it did, just search up PoDD themes for each stage and I am sure you will find it. Edit: It actually came from Touhou 4 LLS Stage 3.

For those confused about the laggy parts let me clear it up, so this is the full bad apple, the video is the short version with some sections slowed down. There does exist an official animation for the full version seen at an official concert, but it is considered lost media and the closest you'll find to it is fan-recreations.

This song (in my interpretation, not the actual meaning.) is about the effects of childhood trauma. Unfortunately, society reduces it to “depression, anxiety” which they aren’t wrong! But it’s so much more than that. It describes depersonalization/derealization, the antisocial behaviors, the fear of whether or not you’ll actually change. The constant identity and existential crises, The apathy, negative internalized messages, all trauma responses. I’m surprised no one has commented on that at all. Also, I don’t even feel sad for the singer, not that it’s sad that they went through possibly very terrible events, but I feel empathy, I know what they went through so I can’t even feel sad. I can only laugh in my head and say “mood”. The song glitches I think are periods of internal conflict. Because survivors of trauma have such harsh inner voices, these are very loud voices which cause the sufferer to try to shut them out, which only makes them louder. I used to think this was the meaning but obviously the actual meaning of the song is different it’s only an interpretation that I found interesting.

The song "Bad Apple" was originally the stage 3 theme from Touhou 5 Lotus Land Story. The popular version by Alstroemeria Records is a lyrical remix of that. Because Elly was the boss for stage 3, she makes an appearance towards the end of the video despite being a minor character. There isn't any real explanation in the game as to why the song would be called "Bad Apple". Many original Touhou music pieces have names that don't really match the plot in any way, and as far as I know ZUN has never specifically explained this title. However, it is true that the popularity of the remix may be in part because it casts the series in a somewhat darker and more serious tone than the ordinary moe artwork, as the name would suggest. As for the characters, I'll list them in order of appearance. The times correspond to when they first appear, and the names link to the relevant articles on Touhou Wiki. This video is based on a very-quickly-made sketch (MS Paint stuff) by someone else. The original "author" uploaded the "storyboard" saying "I want to see a video like this. Somebody draw it please?" This storyboard remained mostly unnoticed until more than a year later, when somebody with an ability on the level of drawing cool silhouettes came and uploaded the famous video. The original "author" never said that the video should be in black & white, but it works very well. Although the choices, the order, and the timing of the characters' appearances in that video follows the storyboard almost exactly, the comparison (kzbin.info/www/bejne/iJyrd5V_frZsisk) can be quite amusing.
