it's intentional. the silloutes of the models are designed specifically so you can tell them apart, because it is a major feature of character design. TF2 has a similar design strat with their characters.

Well, Flandre and Haachama don't really share personality, but I guess Haachama was added due to the "creepy smile". The image of Flandre was highly altered by the fandom, while she was originally a little (495 y/o) girl, that was not allowed to leave outside the mansion unless her sister allowed it, and that spent most of her time in the basement (and also her room), with destructive powers, emotional instability due to not knowing most stuff and staying home all day (cough cough most people in quarantine) and actually mainly being pretty chill........... To a psycho that destroys everything while acting as a kid, and a cold blood murderer that is trapped inside the basement by her own sister during 495 years. Yeah, that's a BIG difference-
