77x66 pixel screen which is 5,082 total pixels. A standard screen(1920x1080) has 2,073,600 pixels on it. This screen is 408 times smaller than the standard screen

Was it possible to transmit audio over tt? The into art and outro was great. Be amazing to run this live but I think UK ran at 15-10 pages per second. With about 1kb ram for most TVs.

No, atleast not in its standard, but technicly you could send any data so you could send audio information but definitly not PCM, and you would need to make own decoder for that. Besides why you need to do that when TV signal send also audio ;p

Yeah the BBC micro had a module for decoding teletext. We had one set up in my school doing it back in the day and I’m assuming the demo is using that somehow

The BBC Micro had various screen modes, one of them, mode 7 actually used a Teletext character ROM so this is being spooled from a disk but is genuine teletext style graphics.

I think here in Australia it only updated about 5 pages per second. Thats what i remember seeing the page counter tick over at. According to the description on the web page, this is not real teletext. It looks identical, but not being encoded or decoded by a tv. They should have made that clearer. Had me fooled for a while.
