The tires are installed the wrong way. ARGO 25 are swim tires and have the shape of a hand paddling when installed so they can scoop water to the rear. I agree also that 18" rubber tracks would have been ideal.

Those Pull Pals are wicked handy! Could've saved yourself some time by free spooling that winch cable out to the Pull Pal instead of powering it out! Save the drain on your battery too!

Actually you are wrong. Those are swimming tires and are in fact mounted backwards. Trying to use a swimming tire mounted backwards so that it looks like a standard atv tire mounted correctly doesn't really work that well. A fellow Argo owner.

He running the tire tread backwards. They get more traction and better water swimming when running the tread backwards.

i would suggest putting on the tracks considering that is what those tires are for or put on a different type of tire

You do realise that you have your tyres on backwards, or maybe that's what makes it "bad ass". With low ground clearance a self cleaning (digging) tyre is not normally a good idea, also when braking down a steep hill you'll find that's when you really need a self cleaning tread.

Argos can get stuck or "stymied" pretty easily without tracks. That said I want one real bad....because my 4 wheeler can't cross a pond,

I'm sorry, but it's not really a "bad ass Argo" when you are stuck and have to winch out. Maybe "bas ass land anchor" would be a more appropriate title.
