www.urbancitytv... - Bad Azz, is an American rapper and member of Tha Dogg Pound Gangsta Crips, also known as DPGC. He was born in Hawaiian Gardens, California and began his career rapping at house parties and joined the LBC Crew. After having a guest verse on the Tupac song "Krazy" in 1996 he was set to sign to Tupac's proposed record label, Makaveli Records. After being briefly signed to Snoop Dogg's label Doggystyle Records, Bad Azz made various guest performances before debuting on Priority Records in 1998 with Word on tha Streets.
In 2001, he followed up with Personal Business whose single "Wrong Idea" (featuring Snoop Dogg, Kokane, and Lil' ½ Dead) reached #75 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. In 2009, he dropped an album with Bizzy Bone, "Thug Pound." In summer of 2010, he dropped a new single For As Long As I Can. In March 2013 Bad Azz got into a fight with Snoop Dogg's cousin Ray J, Bad Azz said it was revenge for getting jumped by Suge Knight and his entourage a decade earlier. In 2011, he appeared on the shelved album Haven't You Heard? (We Givin' Something Bacc To Tha Street) which was released by Death Row Records and WideAwake on February 8, 2011. In 2014, Bad Azz released a music video for a song titled "Baby Wut'z Up", featuring Turf Talk, he announced a new album title "The Nu Adventures Of Bad Azz", which is scheduled for release soon.
The interviews were off the hook and we had a good conversation. Enjoy!

Bad Azz is right, DPG did take down DeathRow! Once Pac died, if Suge was able to hold on to Snoop and DPG, the label may have survived! Suge lost all three of his big 3: Pac, Snoop and DPG. This is after losing Dre! Pac's loss was huge, but Snoop, DPG, Nate Dogg, 213, Eastsiderz, Tray Dee, Super Fly, etc. Went on to do numbers, all on other labels!

Let's be honest after Pac death,death row was nothing. Snoop last album flopped get then jumped ship suge in prison. After that they literally had no good artist. It's easy to win a war when the other side is already defeated.

@israelaurelio3045
@israelaurelio3045 5 жыл бұрын
what he mean unplug? - Suge got locked up and people who worked in Death Row made their own take over thats how Death Row really went down - totally unrelated to any crips or DPG beef right? the main artists at death row when Snoop and all his clowns left was after Dogg Father were nobodies , by then Pac was gone, Suge was in jail, and no other big names that had " beef" with any dpg artists was left??? Am i missing something ? what he mean when he say " look at them now?" - by far the biggest loss happened in 96 when Pac died, kadafi died, and Suge was in Jail - what artist posed a threat or beef aside from them, or could get put on before someone else?? unless Badazz dry snitching on DPG involved in Pacs Murder, and Suge Attempted murder... there is enough evidence out there that put Lil 1/2 dead in the car (cadillac on vegas), and that Snoop feared for his life at the Row - and that Pac had taken over and pushed everybody out - peep the comment he made when he says " Suge had the power and the money to allow any Artist to step on another and make it " - that right there is the biggest snitch on his crew. Which Artist around that time, from the DPG got stepped on by a New member or more likeable member in a Suge Bias ....hold on niggas ill wait....obviously they felt some way about what artist waas being put on and which one wasnt - Lil 1/2 Dead, hes the only one that got shoved onto another label at a time when it was his time to shine, he got stepped over. You know it was Pac - and the fact he wearing a shirt with Pac is how these niggaz love to brag about the hit , its their low key diss in the public eyes, coz for them its a massive win, but you cant brag, you cant say nuffin, so whats the only thing you can do when you cant brag? You tell everybody without saying shit , pictures paints the scene - you know NONE of them Niggas liked Pac at the end. The only other artist was Danny Boy and dude was like 17yrs old...and Nate Dogg had enough talent to make it anywhere, this whole beef over Danny Boy?? Nahhh you know that aint enough....yall know who they was jealous and envious of....2pac. Ever since them Pattons spoke on Lil 1/2 dead name...slowly...the war between DPGC and Suge MOB surfaces...revealing over the years who the real haters and killers of Pac, wasnt the East, wasnt Big or Puff - It was Crooked Copz and Jealouz niggas in his own label, And dont forget them informants and cointelpro within the Row.
